Purples are bang up again coming into a another tough opponent . Losing Cameron Wallace (TE) will not help things at all but this team is different from other teams in the past. You have to take in consideration that these players have been waiting for their chance to shine and they are doing a pretty good job at it right now. Plus the stable of younger players are stepping up when needed. They might not be as flashy as the teams in the past but they fight until the final whistle. They might not look dominate on paper , stats or polls...but that's why they play game

Game was suspended last night due to severe weather in the Louisville area. It is schedule to resume tonight @ 07:30 after the 6th Region Championship if the weather cooperates. It was suspended in the top of the 3rd inning Score was Ballard 2 Male 0.

It all came down to the money that Owensboro is willing to give them every time they bid on it.

Maybe they should take some of the $$ they are giving up and either put in real fence or replace the crappy temporary fence. This is a punch in the face for the girls. Best of my knowledge just about all HS sports play @ a venue that is made for their sports. Not a makeshift rec fields.

Scott Co was up 6-1 and they were hitting very well. Male had several errors with over throws at first and just not fielding the ball well. Bases were loaded because of their errors. Bloomer decided to start hitting the batters. He changed pitchers back to the first pitcher of the night where she came out and hit the first batter in the head, then the next two batters in the butt. It got very ugly and the ump's finally stopped play.

Standing room only for the game last night. Several teams/coaches from the Metro area stopped by to watch the game. Hat's off to the #DawgPound "aka" Male HS Students for coming out and supporting the coaches and players !taz:

Male HS Softball is currently looking into a "Whataburger" Franchise for Louisville area. Understand the girls loved their food and of course accounted that for the way they played in Florida and Friday Night in Huntsville, AL :brb:

The hospitality @ Niceville was excellent. Nice ball park on the school campus. Great team effort all around! Heading to Navarre HS today for another JV/V DH #GO DAWGS
