  1. Ryle will have the best player on the court in Maddie Scherr but CC is a senior led team and Ryle only has 1 senior on the team. Hard to beat a team whose best players are seniors when the other squad is young. I'll take CC in early December

Thats a bold statement to make in regards to the best player on the court. I think there will be 4 to 5 very good ball players on the court tonight that will make for a very fun and exciting game to watch.

  2. This should be a really good matchup and I think the Lady Camels are due for a good win and this would be a good one to get right before the post season begins. They have been going toe to toe with some of the states best teams the last few weeks and hopefully will come out tomorrow night with a chip on their shoulder. I know SHA will be ready to play so we should be in for a good one.

  3. I get it. I've been there a couple times and it is tough. You drive 2 hrs to watch your kid/team play

And they get waxed. Not only do they lose but it's a beat down. Games over before halftime kind of beat down. Nothing going your way, can't get a call, the Titans are hitting one 3 after another, your girls can't buy a bucket, guy in the front row is an idiot and you have a 2 hr drive home with the ole lady busting your chops the whole way for things you have no control over. I get it man.

Here is the good news. The schedule gets a little softer after this one. The Camels have a good little team and are gonna beat some people. Just not gonna beat the Titans.

I would say the roles changed the second half. I wouldn't say the Camels beat them down but they definitely out played Mercer the second half. Mercer couldn't buy a bucket second half.

  4. I'm not sure why people would say that they are surprised by this margin. This Lady Camels team can play and they make every team bring their A game every time they step on the court. You could say Simon Kenton had a bad night and it wasn't the right night of the week for them to play or whatever other reason you have but at the end of the day you can say the same about the Lady Camels. Simon Kenton is very good as they have a lot of weapons and to say they had a bad night because it was a Monday. Call it what you want they had to play their tails off last night to get the win at home against a very tough Campbell County team.

  5. Lady Camels got themselves in to big of a hole the first half. Thats what happens when a team hits 11 threes in the 1st half on you. Lady Camels played a much better second half offensively and defensively as they only gave up 1 three and outscored Mercer 36-25. Both JV teams played the last minute of the game as both teams played starters most of second half. Mercer County is very good as they shoot the three really well and they are fun to watch. Good luck to both teams the rest of the way. This could be a second round matchup at state assuming both teams make it there.
