How about 22 little ole rings? I think you have singlehandedly jinxed SK out of possibly winning their first 6A title. Karma reads BGP my friend. I feel truly sorry for anyone that spends this much time bad mouthing such a prestigious institution. I think you have an illness my friend but i have some blue koolaid that will make you better. By the way, guess which school has not only the best football team in NKY but the highest SAT scores as well? I'll give you a hint, they aren't in Independence, or Fort Mitchell. That's right, brains and athletic prowess.
maybe Highlands has the highest SAT, but BEECHWOOD has the highest ACT scores. 25.6>23.8

I thought Utley already re signed with Philly...
like i said, i haven't really been paying attention to the MLB signings recently. Been watchin too much football

Scott is 3 touchdowns better than Beechwood and NCC!

Then again, we may be able to land a sign and trade sort of deal with the bats that are hitting the market this offseason to kill BP's contract...
Robinson Cano
Alexi Casilla
Mark Ellis
Nick Punto
Skip Schumaker
Chase Utley
Ben Zobrist
Coco Crisp
Delmon Young
Kevin Youkillis
Dioner Navarro
Mark Reynolds
Rafeal Furcal
Juan Uribe
Michael Young
Kendrys Morales
Carlos Beltran
Ya, some will re-sign with old teams. But I can see Billy Hamilton being able to work hard to transition into an everyday Second Baseman if it meant getting a big bat or consistent bat at least in the outfield. I also haven't been keeping up with who's been re-signed and who hasn't so if some of these players got re-signed, sorry. These are just the ones off the top of my head.

Now that Price is the guy I don't think Bailey will get dealt anymore
Why wouldn't we trade Bailey for a big bat? or even Cingrani...with so many starting pitchers on the Free Agent market, you would think we could afford to give up one guy for a veteran starter that we can get a couple years out of, especially for the run support.
Roy Halladay
Phil Hughes
Bartolo Colon
AJ Burnett
Josh Johnson

That you sir! Glad to be here.

Beechwood picks the score in this one.

Not knowing the demographics of Dayton or Bellevue, does their population want to merge with an inner-city school? That is where race comes in. Race will always trump reason and logic
dayton and bellevue's population and demographics are not much different than that of newport...combined.
-
Any element of race enter into this?
what does race have anything to do with combining schools to better kids futures?

5 Highlands
3 Mayfield

I don't think this will ever happen. Independent school districts have no incentive to combine. And given the three cities involved I really don't think this will ever happen.
is it really up to the schools though? i always though city and county officials had the voice in whether something like this would happen. im probably wrong but that is just what i always assumed.

Are Dayton and Bellevue better academically than Newport? Do they have more to lose joining Newport?
Composite ACT scores:
Dayton: 18 #15 in NKY
Bellevue: 18.1 #14 in NKY
Newport: Not in the top 15...
Simon Kenton the only Undefeated Team NKY!!!!
