Dude, you do know you're talking about high school kids, lighten up.
Yes I should have never said that Jake sucked, because he doesn't. He is a great kid with a lot of upside to be seen.
He is a young man who has to learn a lot more than the average person due to his height and how others view him.
I know he works his butt off and will
Continue impressing himself and I'm sure all of us, as he gains more court time and experience.
I was way over the top on this post. Not in my nature to say anything or about anyone.
My apologies to all. I was way out of line in saying anything.
It's been fun - but I will be signing off after this post.
Everyone keep routing for all this kids that play sports. It's tough at times but rewarding for life. There is a lot to be said how all these young men graduate from CCH, as they end up having rewarding careers and show great support to the NKY community.
It's awesome too to see other teams win. All these games make region 9 one of the toughest in the state.
Again, please accept my apology if I have offended anyone.
Best of luck to all teams.

Sadly for you, I will not be there.
Ahhh - but I am sure you will have something to say.
-
Clyde - look forward in seeing what you have to say on Friday.
This should be a fun time the rest of the year, listening to your insights from every game around the state.
-
If you could throw in some sprinkles, in addition to the sugar coating, I can forgive thee.
Sprinkles with a wink!
-
CCH will be fine. If there is a rematch, I look for them to handle the pick and roll better. HC will have to develop more of a bench because it will come back to bite them.
Very true statement. Thanksfor sharing.

I apologize for letting you down.
That's how you sound among all your other comments on games for Lexingtont/Louisville down western Ky.
Stick too What you may know.
-
This game has added another true power to this area.
Districts and Region 9 tournament will be fun. Who ever survives will be battled tested and ready for sweet 16!

Let's summarize your night.
Walter SUCKED
Flood SUCKED and PIMPED
Officials SUCKED
My thoughts SUCK
I hope you at least had a good seat and an attractive date and maybe a good hot dog.
My friend - this is basketball, not pancake making.
You have sound like this ever since I have come in board here. I am
Finally tired of listening to you sugar coat everything. Coach Ruthsatz is not sugar coating this to his players.
I'm a BIGTIME CCH fan - I'm I am dead straight honest person about what I see.
After putting 3 boys thru CCH and 1 left, I have seen tons of sports through this wonderful Highschool
I just wish you would start talking and speaking what actually happen a it sugar coat your pancakes.
Go CCH!

Folks - just so you know, Mr. Clyde knows all and watches every game arojnd the state and knows everything.
No since worrying about what you think you saw at the game or even having a thought process. Clyde is here to help us little folks understand what we really saw at the game.
Thanks Clyde!

You had bad night, didn't you.
Clyde - I have to be honest, your thoughts here are worthless

What a great game to watch and great atmosphere. You needed a shoe-horn to get another soul in the Finn tonight, and I have to agree with Clyde, no better environment for a heated high school rivalry game than a HS gym.
As Clyde said, Holy Cross won with 5 and a half players........however, they got the "W" and that's all that matters. Congrats to the Indians.
Bezold with a strong game, but you can tell he was running on empty late in the 4th.
CVH kept the Blue Colonels in this one all by himself, Holy Cross had no one to guard him when he wanted to go to the rack.
The silent killer tonight was Holy Cross's Derrick Barnes, 14 huge points, all on the back door variety. He missed his 1st shot of the night, and BADLY, but connects on his next 7. He also had some really strong rebounds. BTW, you can tell by looking at him that he is a football player....YIKES!
Yes - they backed door CCH all night with him.
AJ - had a touch time keeping him off the boards and creating space.
We will see how CCH handles your team come Friday at a BiGGEr arena with space and hopefully with zebras not from Around here.

Did a nice job. Not an easy one to work with all of the action at the rim.
Not even close. Most of the ticky tac fouls came on the floor with out any 'rim action'
-
I'm easy to find, holmes.
What's does this mean?
I'm
At every CCH game, but I don't pansie around the truth.
I have read your quotes and talks for the the last few months - be honest, that's all.
And if you think your being honest - then so bet it, but it's wrong tonight.

A few random thoughts:
Tricia Macke does a really nice job coaching. Her son has nice skills. Had 12 in the first qtr in the frosh game but then CCH went into deny mode. Tricia wasn't happy with the officials late and I'd say she was right.
The Houston kid on the frosh team is really good as well. That's two nice kids plus a talented big in Knochelman(?). I did find it interesting that Pendleton County's Dante Allen was sitting behind the HC bench the entire evening.
JV game was very competitive. #5 for HC is built like we all wish we would have been in high school. Steve Muck coaches them up. Ryan has a nice staff.
Tough night for Jake Walter as he had 3 fouls early. Tough calls. Finished with 10 points. HC kid battled him hard.
I was really impressed with frosh Jack Coldiron. First time seeing him since 7th grade. Big, strong, athletic kid with a true post game(which you don't see much any more). Kid will be a player in years to come (in all 3 sports).
Fleek and Spencer also looked good for the frosh.
Dude - Jake look like crap! Be honest here or don't talk.
When you are 6'10 you need to own little JV players.
Nowak look solid defensively.
Coldiron will be a threat - no doubt.
-
I assume Hood if Flood. Rough night for him.
AJ played really well especially in the 2nd half. I'd guess he ended up with 12 to 15 .
Lenhof was solid off the bench.
Yes - sorry - fat fingered his name.
AJ was ok, but could have been better.
Lenhoff was good off the bench, but missed the mark on scoring a few 3 pts.
This team lacks scoring - period.
CJ is learning how to play each and every nite.
CVH can not do this alone.
Flood needs to stop pimping and start playing.
-
Great day for the Indian fans. Congrats on the win.
Holy Cross is the "Little Team That Could".
We will see come District playoff time.
-
CVH needs help to beat these better teams.
Hood - a major disappointing season so far. Looks lost!
Aiden - foul trouble
AJ - extremely quiet.
Very skinny bench for CCH.
-
Hard to get a call if your a CCH fan.
Speed of game is intense.
-
Nice balance scoring.
-
Yes - was nice to see him get a little time. Kid has a bright future.
-
More of a joke, when Coach Hicks put his son in who is an 8th grader before Soph/Jr. On his bench.
Also - both head coaches have sins that play for their school and Dad.
Ruthsatz is a pure baller.
Hicks son - not so much yet.
-
I saw it live. No inside play, plays outside the 3 pt line had very little leadership.
-
Coach Schrand has his kids shooting very well and running at a high level.
-
Sounds like HC/CCH game on 1/12 will be worth watching.

Trinity/NCC might be close because it's open round with 2 good teams going at it, but in the end I see the Rocks pulling away.
Could be an early classic for 2016 State tourney.
