I'm intrigued. I'm hearing it's not set in stone and that Hall and Ndahiro are both unlikely to play. Is Maxey coaching this group since the names appear to be from last year's Hoop Dreams-Maxey team?
I think this is someone's wish list for a team. These kids have been contacted but not all have committed from what I understand.

No 17U Travelers to match up with Magic 17's and Traveler 16's are playing up in 17's division. So, no 16U matchup of Travelers-Magic either.
-
This is still very much a rumor, according to people who would know.
Q is not going to Huntington Prep. They already have their PG for this year.

Does anyone know the roster of this team? I hear that they are ducking the travelers by all the posts I have read. The travelers have posted their roster and I would say with my limited knowledge that the magic smack doesnt stack up against the talent collected by the new team on the block. Would love to know if these teams will play this summer? I thought the KY state AAU was for the best teams and players in the state so why would both teams not play in it - scared?
LOL. I don't think the Magic ducks anybody, and yes, your knowledge does seem limited. Magic won the Adidas Invitational in Indianapolis the last two years, The Adidas Super 64 in Vegas last year, and the Spiece Run-N-Slam in Ft Wayne last year.
They finished 2nd In the Adidas Spring Invitational in Bloomington to an Eric Gordon team that included Zak Irvin (Michigan), Basil Smotherman (Purdue), Colin Hartman, Devin Davis (IU), and VJ Beacham (Notre Dame). They lost by 3 while playing up in the 17U division.
They also won state in their division the last two years (And split their team up last year to make it more competitive).
This new Travelers team is yet to win a game as a team. So, to say that the Magic doesn't stack up to the new team on the block is a little absurd at this point. Let's see how the Travelers do before we start bashing a team that's proven itself.

Is Kelan Martin not playing with them?
Martin plays with Indiana Elite.

Maybe you can answer a question for me that Travelers Tradition keeps avoiding.
Is there a feud/rivalry between the Magic and the Travelers and is there a chance that these two teams meet up in tourney play anywhere or is the Travelers strictly playing an EYBL schedule?
No feud that I know of, but I would think both teams would go pretty hard if they matched up.
Maybe play at state, but I think Travelers are playing somewhere else that weekend.

Dang. Hate to hear that. Thanks for the info.
Magic will still be strong......Cunningham, Snider, Green, Grundy, Shane Hall, Craig Owens, Brent Bach, Austin Rentfroe, and Lamontrey Harris.
-
Bolden will definitely be the best player in the state in 2015! No question! But if he doesn't get to 6'2" he won't be big time D1. He will play mid-major. Needs to gain weight as well.
I disagree, he has a D-1 skillset. Needs to work more on going right and gain weight, but if he doesn't get to 6-2, it won't matter. He will be D-1 as long as he continues to work.

I didn't realize Russell had so many offers. Is he playing with the Magic this summer?
Nevermind. According to the link he is still with the Magic.
He is playing with E1T1 out of Florida

Also, does anyone know when the games are?
I looked for the old thread with list of invites, but couldn't find it. Please merge if needed.

Yeah, that was one of several ohmygod! plays throughout the day. Still, I felt like Snider passed up some chances to take over when his team needed him to.
Snider had 5 assists, 2 steals, and zero turnovers in 31 minute vs MoCo. He is not shooting well but has 1 turnover in his last 56 minutes he's played vs Knott and MoCo. Add 2 W's to that and I'm gonna say his coach Is happy with his production.

where can we go for online coverage?

I think Ballard and Madison Central are the top 2 for sure. I Like Bolden and Holmes at 3, a really good PG can take you a long way in the tourney. I like Prewitt and MOCO 4th, then PRP with the length at 5,and probably Hopkinsvile at 6. John Hardin at 7.
After that I think it drops a notch.

Taylor is a Senior.

The best matchup here will be Kelan Martin vs Shane Hall

Heard that one of the Ballard players had to get stitches after the game. Any details on what happened to him?
Malik Dow took an elbow to the eye, cut him open, and left the game in the 1st half. Snider bit into his tounge pretty deep and had a mouth full of blood for a while. I don't think either got stitches though. Both finished the game
-
Lavonne Holland got hot 2nd half and Ballard turned up the pressure defense, Martin sat the 1st half in foul trouble.
Got most of his 15 pts and 9 boards in the second half.
Seneca has some nice athletic players, they are just not very deep.
-
X shot the ball poorly, Dominique Chandler was lights out.
That was the difference.
-
Crowds were nothing compared to Bellarmine. Male brought the biggest student section.
Ballard game was empty at the start and most people filed out at halftime of the Trinity game.
On a side note, I wasn't impressed with Ballard or Trinity.......Looked like they were both looking forward to a game on down the road
-
I like Madison Central in this bracket over Scott County.
If Henry Clay can put together three consistent games, they could be a spoiler.

There actually is a lot of parking on the opposite side of the gym in the far parking lot....I don't think the LIT was anywhere near capacity because of the location. Not sure what the turnout will be for Regionals though, could be a lot worse. Keep in mind that Bullitt East didn't participate in the LIT and they tend to bring a lot of fans themselves.
-
If Trinity and Ballard make it through the brackets to the championship, expect that game to be as good as the last matchup.
I think Trinity is the better team and should win but you know how rivalries go.

He's been hurt, lower back. When he was healthy he looked just as good as he always had before.
