Yeah I was at the game. I attend most Central games. Lawrence County has several good players. They were very close to having 5 players in double figures. Their problem is that they have no inside game. Their lack of size will be their downfall. I'm still not sold on their new coach. Johnson Central had 4 in double figures and almost a 5th and two of those had double figure rebounds. The main thing that I have noticed about Central is that you never know which Central team will show up but it is that way with most high school teams.

Mason Blair had 30 points in the 2nd half for JC. He was on fire from 3. He had 2 points 1st half. His brother had 19 first half and ended up with 22 for the game.
Not brothers. Their dads are brothers (Eddie & Kevin), they are cousins.

Looky there...new meat. Welcome to BGP, Pete!
Any particular reasoning behind your prediction?
The fact that Cov Cath appears to not be 100% plus Johnson Central has a lot of quality athletes on their roster. They also play a lot of kids and only 3 go both ways.

I think Johnson Central will win but it will be close.

Johnson Central over Prestonsburg
Pikeville over Pike Central
Sheldon Clark over Betsy Layne
East Ridge over Belfry
Johnson Central over Pikeville
Sheldon Clark over East Ridge
Johnson Central over Sheldon Clark to return to Rupp Arena
Why didn't Kash Daniel play against Pikeville?

For the past year, Tiger supporters have told Johnson County kids come to Paintsville and play for a state title. Now we have Johnson Central playing for a state title and Paintsville is practicing basketball. Add in the fact of how they are treating one of their own and answer the following question, "What kid in their right mind would leave the Johnson Central program and cross the creek?" #KARMA
