I have only one observation about all of this talk. If the 3 point shot makes it so much easier for someone to break Mr. Draud's record then why is Hatton the only player in the last 29 years that has even come close. The kid actually has a little talent to go along with the 3 point shot...

Hopefully yes as long as he stays on the same pace that he is on right now. Would love to see the young man reach 3,000 points for his career.

Brandon is 162 points away from the record. I have been keeping track...

Congratulations to all of the young men who made the team. It would sure be nice to get a couple of wins this year against Indiana.
-
Mine too. That's what happens when you get on in years, your memory goes first and I don't care what they say.
-
I apologize, you are correct Clyde.

Doug Shlomer played after Dickie Beal.

Dave Cowens was one of my favorite all time players to watch during his high school career. When on the floor he was no nonsense, that is why he could play for so many years as a true post player. I got to watch a lot of his games in the early years. What a great player he was.

What a truly great story, and 2 very special people.

Very well done Walter. Your insight on all 8 teams is very interesting.

Good job Goldie, keep them coming.

Congratulations to Niko Carter. It has been fun to watch him play over his career.

Correct score was 55 to 34. Dixie wins...

Congratulations to all of the young men that were selected.

Makes perfect sense. This would be something that I think a few coaches might look at for the reasons that you stated.

Does the EYBL play 20 minute halves as well? That would be better than most AAU tournaments.

This was a very nice interview. You are correct Clyde, he seems to know where his skill set is at this time. He still has another year to work on certain areas of his game, but at this time he seems to know which direction he is headed in.

Hopefully there are no more cancellations and he at least gets the chance to get to 3,000 points. His team has already missed out on 5 games this season.
