  1. Rumored of saving over 75,000 dollars to not sell programs at any events this year.... You could download the online version to your phone. Personally, I love the programs and I get one every year. I hope they change their minds and sell them next year.

  2. My 9th Region experience wasn't so bad.. I parked down by the soccer field and walked up the hill free of charge. This saved me $4 for parking and about 30 minutes waiting to park in the garage. Luckily (not knowing where I was supposed to enter) found the back entrance ticket office and there was only about a 10 person line. This also saves me 15-20 minutes from standing in line at the front entrance.

The bad: 8 dollars a person for the Holmes-NCC & Cooper-St. Henry didn't seem bad at first until I went to the 11th region Semi Finals for just 6 dollars and free parking. I know NKU is a newer facility and in much better condition than EKU's arena but the quality of basketball in the 9th is no comparison to the 11th this year. My money was much better spent at EKU.

The Consession prices were ridiculous at the 9th region... 4.00 for a drink, 4.50 for popcorn and a 20 minute wait in line to go with it

My last comment, the atmosphere at the much anticipated Holmes vs. NCC rematch was a disappointment to say the least. The arena just seemed dead quite. 10th region and 11th region tournament games I attended the gyms were rocking!! The 9th just seemed uninterested.

  3. Monroe could have easily scored more. His FG% was terrible. He probably shot around 40 shots. Pouncy and Castleman not athletic?:lol::lol: Pouncy is weak but quick and Bach will not know what to do when Physical Josh Castleman is all over him.

one of the most ignorant posts I have read.... 40 shots?? He sat the whole first half because of foul trouble and still finished with 27. You obviously didn't watch the game and if you did it was without intelligence and you obviously have never seen Brent Bach play.

  4. Nothing against Augusta and you all know I am a Scott fan, but just putting it out there. You are making this hype of Bach getting way too big! He is comparable to Kyle Scaggs of Russel, Mason Monroe of Pendleton and can't think of the name but a guard out of Perry Co. Central (all great players) but Scott shut down all three of these players who are comparable to Bach. I expect the same thing Tuesday. I think Scott will be a step ahead Tuesday night and will run away with this game! Look for a big game out of the big men for Scott, Nick Jackson, Kameron Crim, and Tyler Buckner. Nobody from Augusta will be able to handle the physical play by these 3 bigs. Take that back, Bach could but he can't guard all three. Predicted score---- Augusta 55. Scott 66. Close game until the 4th quarter, when Scott makes their run.

Monroe had 27 against Scott..... Wouldn't consider that being shut down. Bach is more athletic and can shoot it better from the outside than Monroe. Scott's guards are not athletic or quick enough to guard Bach... Although if they saw the Bracken game, the box and one on Bach may be enough to slow him down if their role players are not hitting shots.

With that said I'll take Augusta by 6 tonight.
