  1. I heard he moved here his soph year also. For all I know he is from Ky moved to Indiana, then moved back. I do know that on Senior night, he we escorted a large family including parents, sister, Aunts, Uncles and Grandparents. Doubt they drove in from Indiana on a Tues. night for that. As for the coach's interview, had just won a state title and was speaking to thousands and media and was probably not reading a script. He could have messed up. If your roster of about 20 kids has one who moved from another state, I'd say homegrown kids is a pretty accurate statement the way things work these days. Why don't you congratulate them on there hard work and move on. Now I answered your question, now you answer mine. What school do you support ? Are any of your schools kids from another area ? I'm guessing it's one who the Indians beat and now you're trying to get something started that isn't there. Congrats to the Indians. Job well done !

I was at the Finals supporting MCHS. My "hometown" team has transfers, but our coach doesn't go around promoting them as raised locally either! If you look above at a previous comment I stated that I'd doubt any team in the state is 100% homegrown. Congrats on Title and thanks for answering my question!

I stumbled upon this great post game interview with Coach Feldhaus. One of his comments kind of struck me as "out of place", Coach said "We don't except transfers, all of our players grew up in Richmond".

Is this a true statement? I have heard from multiple folks that both Bosley and Taylor are both in fact transfers?

Not trying to question the coach's comments just trying to get to the truth of the matter.

  3. Scott County was just that good. They shot the ball so well. Richardson was dominant from start to finish with 25 points, 9assists and no turnovers. Gilbert was on fire. And the Cardinals went from -18 rebounds last game to plus 9 tonight. Huge win as far as first round district opponent. Keeps them from any chance of playing Madison Central.

I guess you meant keeps them from playing Central in first round?

Ideal draw for SC would be Henry Clay drawing Central in first round, but either way in the 11th there will be no easy road to Rupp.

  4. Since they won the coin toss and will play Sayre, they will definitely get out of the district. But, after that, nothing will surprise me with this team. I have been saying all year their ranking was too high.

Stat of the night last night (maybe of the year) .... Henry Clay 17 Turnovers, 0 Assists.

Sounds like the stat guy may have fallen asleep??:idunno:

  5. Kind of odd that they decided to go to Breathitt, isn't that district being run by the state? I cant see any positives to them being located in Kentucky. They can only play against non sanctioned high school teams in KY and College JV teams, neither of which provides them with much competition, which means they will be paying big money for teams to come to them or paying big money to travel out of state.
