Great job ladies!

2-1 and 11-3

 

I didn't see game 1 but it sounds like 2 errors in the 7th doomed Conner.

 

Game 2 Conner had the 8th grader Roarke on the mount. Got off to a bad start when Conner first baseman dropped a popup on the first batter. A few hits, another error, pitcher late to cover the plate on a wild pitch and GE puts up 4. Strong 2nd inning by Roarke. 3rd inning was not as good as GE put some more runs up.

 

Conner brought Simms back in to pitch rest of the game. She belted a 3-run homer to cut the 10-0 lead to 10-3 and that's as close as Conner got. Might have had 4 hits total.

 

GE has a nice team.

Roark gave up 1 earned run in three innings. Sims hit hard in 5th before 3 run shoot.

All I know is that if Haylee Smith isn't in the Top 10, that's one hell of a region.

Without Smith this is a joke! If I was starting a team she would be my first player selected.

Says 8th grade catcher Kennedy Baugh for SK has hit a home run in each of the last two games. Very impressive, does any one have any info on this young lady.

The sky is the limit for Ms. Baugh!

Strictly on the outside looking in on this subject! If you talk about MVP in the 9th region on who is best player that will help their team I can not imagine anybody being better than the Smith girl! She can hit! She can play D! She can Pitch! If we put all these players in a draft and was having a fantasy leauge I think Smith would be the #1 pick! NOT KNOCKING ANYBODY! All of the girls mentioned are great ( I mean very good) players!

Oliverio - Ryle

Kaleigh Clark - Conner

Carlee McCarthy - Boone. Although they will probably move her to SS this year with Johnson being out and Knotts handling the majority of the pitching.

I believe Grau may play 2nd for Boone. I heard Clark quit softball.

.532 avg. 50H, 12doubles, 32R, 35 RBI. That's getting it done.

Who does Cooper, Conner and Boone have

There is an 8th grader at Conner who I would put with anybody mentioned here.

They also have a sophomore.

Who are the backup pitchers for Ryle, Boone & Conner?

Knotts is a complete ball player she will do well.

I heard Johnson was not playing this year.
