What are the Holmes lady bulldogs looking like this year? Any good? I know they lost 3 starters their lead off hitter and short stop Shannon Sullivan. The ace pitcher and three hitter Amanda Cupp, who now plays at Union College. Also the left fielder Tiffany Golsby.

Any predictions?

I like the idea!

Have no clue about that sitution but I would say it would be hard not impossible for most teen age girls to relate to guys in their 60's.

If you watched the Ludlow game, you definately did not see a good game for us. We have to get more consistent and beat the teams we should beat, then we will get the respect we deserve.

Notre Dame is definitely the best team out of the bunch and I'm not saying that because I'm partial to the Pandas.

They may be. But from what I saw today I was not impress enough to choose them.

Flip a coin. Be nice to draw any of these teams in the regional tournament.

Agree. They lost to Ludlow but then beat a pretty decent Grant County team.

Yeah..... I would have so say that Beechwood, Notre dame, Holmes, and Holy Cross district is wide open!!

Saw NDA play today and they did not impress me at all!

All 4 teams will be fairly close when healthy, NDA may be the slight favorite but none of the teams will compete for the 9th region.

I guess it could be another long year for NDA unless they improve.

Heard the same thing about Bella. Great player she was a lot of fun during the summer. She could be one of the best for sure behind that girl from HHS I have a little favor towards. The one thing they do have is good pitching and if you can't hit them doesn't matter who's playing in the field.

Heard she is doing physical therapy and is suppose to go back to the doctor sometime this week. But yes I agree they will be really hurting.

I was looking at their (Union College) web site and they have a JV team. Is that normal for NAIA schools, I haven't seen it or heard about JV teams at other schools.

Most of the smaller schools in the NAIA and other conferences like union is in are starting to have them. But to answer your question yes there is other JV teams at other schools.

Amanda Cupp from Holmes High School located in Covington, Kentucky signed her letter of intent to continue her softball career at Union College in Barboursville, Kentucky on Friday January 20, 2012.

Union College seemingly is getting many from Northern Kentucky to play there in various sports. For Cupp-still Go Bulldogs!!
