I was at practice today to see hc in full pads for the first time. They looked pretty good on offense especially when they went 4-5 wide, teams are going to have trouble matching up with the speedy skill positions on the Indians.

Who was at QB ?

Bad information because NewCath was not there playing in Lafayette. They have had 7 on 7's with CovCath and Campbell Co. Cain outplayed the other quarterbacks in every phase.

Passing camps don't play to NewCath's strengths offensively. They aren't going to throw the ball 30 times a game, not initially anyway.

I have heard from a couple of people that this was going to happen. I cant confirm 100% but I wont be surprised if he did. However he will have a hard time playing QB at HC, both Gabbard and Pouncy have been looking decent in 7 on 7.

Was not there, but i was told Gabbard kid played very good this weekend at Lafayette. Threw 14 or 15 TD's in the tournament. Which they lost to Ballard who eventually won the tournament. Pouncy threw 3 or 4. Also told New Cath and Holmes was there and did not look very good. I cant imagine this kid comming in and moving in front of Gabbard or Pouncy.

1. I believe I saw him play when he was at his school in Cincy.

2. Have the rumors that he is going back to Cincy been proven incorrect?

Clyde, do you have any info on impact player from Conner Transfer to H.C. . Or any H.C followers heard about it??

Holy Cross Beat Boone, they only kept score by quarter. Not sure if either team was missing players but I heard Campbell did play.

I would imagine the same as last year. A little of all, but more often. Just a guess.

Neighbor is friend of asst coach, he said they are very excited about next year. Beal will line up in multiple places showing alot of dif looks. Pouncy will be running back when they use one. Alot of 4 and 5 wide empty backfield sets, make teams defend their speed. Russell kid has really gotten bigger and improved. Gabbard kid big, strong arm and athletic has Morehead and Eastern and some others already interested. Big concern will be replacing linebackers and Koz son on defense. Campbell kid is now believed to be leaving HC.

The new complex at Scott is very impressive. Hopefully Campbell can build that program. Is everything finished yet with their additions ??

I agree Bir and Barker top of the list in NKY, I was trying to say as much as Holy Cross throws the ball and by evidence of Arlinghaus at Lou and Fuller who will play somewhere at next level, whoever is H.C qb will put up stats and get college looks. Who is going to be Scott QB next year? Are they going to be improved ??

Holy Cross QB, I talked to one of asst coaches and he said they had thoughts of starting Gabbard kid in front of Fuller lsat year. I have not seen him play but I saw Fuller, and we know the numbers he put up last year. Friend saw them play Grant county and said kid threw the ball all over, had 5 td,s. Never been there but have heard stories about Wayland and King Kelly Coleman avg 40 ppg. I think they turned gym into a museum. He might still hold record for points in a sweet sixteen. Had 63 in consolation game!!

I have seen both teams play, toss up. HC might fall into trap scenario Teusday V.S Ryle. Looking forward to Friday and Holmes. Played 4 tough games in 4 days, look for Ryle to pull upset.

Info is Pouncy not QB, they have 6'3 kid who can throw it. Sat behind Arlinghous-(Louisville) fuller-(all state).Already being recruited from QB camps?? If true they will be loaded next year.
