Next two weekends are evaluation weekends for NCAA coaches. Biggest tourneys with most coaches are in Minneapolis (nike EYBL) and Vegas. Any Ky teams in these tourneys?

I'm a little shock this conversation has not centered more on the players. High school sports should be about the kids and only the kids. Know very little about MC, but feel for the current players, especially Prewitt. He seems to be a great kid and has gotten a raw deal from the administration. Best of luck to him.

Lex Cath has a shot, but young guards will have to learn how to get Whitman the ball. Think he lead 11th in both scoring and rebounding last year. I know all the talk is Willis, I'll take Whitman over Willis every day. Willis handles ball better, but Whitman is much much more athletic and attacks the rim. Because of his handle, Willis may be better prospect at college level, Whitman is the better high school player.

Scott was better team, Whitman was by far the best player on court. 23 points and 15 rebounds (sick to boot). He almost has to be 11th region player of the year.

Central very well may have the best backcourt in the state. IMO catholic has the best big man in the 11th and maybe the state. Catholic without Whitman vs Central is no contest. My point was if Whitman stays in game through smarter play or more favorable whistle, catholic very well wins last night. You just don't know what may happen at tourney time. Don't count Catholic out yet.

Don't count Catholic out yet. Biggest plays in the game were whistles by officials. Central goes on 22-0 run with Whitman out with fouls. Worst called game (both ways) I have seen in long time, but effect was much bigger on Catholic than Central. If catholic gets some points from backcourt rematch could very easily be different.

He transferred from lex cath. Kids need to learn that transferring only delays dealing with your issues. They don't go away.

Trinity should win. Thier tough part is to win the region. If they make it to state tourney, they will win.

These are computer rankings. Lex Cath lost to Lafayette, but the computer didn't know thier #2 and #3 scorers were both out and thier #1 guy got 35. This is why basketball is so great, in the end it will all be decided on the court.

Trinity was the better team, but jack Whitman was the best player on the court.

If he is not, he sure is playing like he is.

What were the two 6'8" kids stats, and how did they compare to the kid from Lex Cath.
