Did Zeke get 5 years? Keep beating your dead horse Zeke had 30 plus offers before his Junior year so I think it is safe to say he was goi D1 no matter when he graduated. If it makes you feel better keep up the ignorant comments but you should be aware that it makes you look (well to be nice) childish.
What he means is Pike has another year of physical maturity under his belt then Towles. He could have posted it a bit differently but I think this is what he was trying to express.

Go to UK and catch some TD's from Towles!!!!
-
I think the offer sheet is a very telling story. Actual offers for both:
Towles - UK, Louisville, Illinois, Cincinnati... More of a local flavor to his offers.
Pike - the same 4 as Towles, plus, Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Florida, Tennessee, Wisconsin, USC, SCarolina, Arkansas, UCLA, WVa, NCarolina, etc, etc, etc...Theres numerous more big schools not mentioned.
Not saying Pike is better, but, I do think these bigtime programs can, for the most part, recognize talent and surely they can't all be wrong, not to mention that the majority of the scouting services feel Pike is the better of the 2.
Towles also holds an offer from Vanderbilt. Just saying.

Zeke Pike will not take one snap under center at a Big Time division 1 college football program. You can take that to the bank. He will be an all conference TE or DE but will not do it at the Quarterback position.
-
I hope the receivers see UK just got a verbal from a 6'5" QB with a huge arm and come to catch those TD's. Should be interesting to see how the 2012 class ends up for UK.
-
I would say he is probably a 4.65 - 4.70 guy..
Im sorry but you are sorely mistaken. He's just below a 5 maybe a 4.8-4.9 guy.
-
I know you're really close to this situation but don't lose all perspective.
UK will get in on Towles if they feel he's their best option. Right now it appears they haven't made that decision.
Signing/not signing Towles (or Pike)is hardly going to make or break UK football.
My post was referring to the idea as if Kentucky can't keep their in state talent in the state then how do they expect to compete? You have to be able to recruit in your own backyard before going elsewhere. Towles is just a current example that illustrates my opinion, other examples would be Collinsworth, Dawson (if they cant sign him), etc...
-
And people wonder why UK will never get to the level of play it has the potential to reach. Where are you Joker? I'm sure Mr. Towles would love a phone call.
-
This would be funny if it weren't so painfully true!
Yes sir, two bluebirds landed in Houston yesterday for the US Army All American Combine!
-
Pike is just as big, has a better throiwing motion, better feet, faster release, stronger arm, higher release point, is a textbook passer who's always up on his toes, and a list of offers that Towles will never see the likes of. Why would you even try to put the two in the same catagory? Towles is a great player and WILL get more offers, but you're setting him up for a message board beat down by trying to compare the two.
It's a sad joke to imply that a guy comes with a list of offers like he's got through "marketing". These schools are too good and have too much riding to just whimsically offer people based on half truths.
I could call in tomorrow to scout or rivals and say I play quarterback for Bellevue (no offense Tigers) and I have received 34 offers this week and they would post it. They do no follow up research on any of their stats. I can guarantee you Pike is being offered as an Athlete and not as a Quarterback. You can offer 10 scholarships to different players as athletes but this can't be done at the QB position. Its funny to see how both Pike and Towles have offers from Louisville but only one was offered as the quarterback of their 2012class. You can get off of Pike's Jock Strap W.E. Raider and let the play of both QB's speak for itself.

With a healthy Stewart and Crowley Highlands beats this team. Towles is not in basketball shape yet given he has only had about 6 practices but when he is no one in this region will be able to stop him in the post.
-
I look for Egan to step up in this game from the outside to give relief to Towles in the middle. And True has to have a big day in the absence of Stewart.
-
Towles will be playing in this game...Him and Stewart down low will be too much to handle...

Birds roll Big...We stopped Jon Davis pretty well. The players aren't freaking out about any specific player. Play their game and its not even close.
-
Safe travels to everyone . Birds need to bring their A game , and take care of the rock . Go Birds !!! 20in 10 !!!
Couldn't agree more!
-
The more I think about the game, the more I am worried. We are young, and are in untested waters regarding the playoffs and our corresponding youth. I hope we bring our "A" game, we're going to need it.
The key is the play of Ryle's D-Line. They create pressure then they will win.
-
The SCRIMMAGE between the two teams was neck and neck. Ryle needs to capitalize on long drives, this is what Johnson Central did not do vs. the Birds. And the Ryle D line has to get pressure on Trinity's young QB. If they can do this then they'll be in Bowling Green with the Birds next week!
-
Seems like Harlan has a pretty big Offensive line. What does their Defensive line look like?
-
If Ryle can execute the gameplan they had vs. Highlands then they win.
-
Any information on Cawood? Seating, field conditions, etc.
-
Harlan hasn't beaten anyone of any count. Also the fans and players for Harlan haven't seen the kind of speed and the skill players Highlands has. 45-7 Birds roll!
-
Can we catch the game at Beef's tonight?
859 581 4900...I work there and if you call and ask they may put it on for ya if you bring a group!
-
I'm going with the Birds in this one, 42-14.
-
Highlands will hopefully continue to play with a 4-3 defensive set. That shut down Dixie in the second half last night. If they do this then it shouldn't be close.
