Yep. Some good games ahead. Anderson County has 5 of these top 13 ranked schools ahead of them, the LIT and a nationally ranked out of state team. As an AC fan I hope this what don't kill you makes you stronger theory pans out.

So passtheball if SHA is the best team in the state, which I won't argue, how do you figure a close game in this one?

Franklin county has good young team.

Concerning Cann these numbers are not official but she is about a career 40 per cent shooter from 3 point rang and 48 per cent from 2 point field goals. These numbers do not include this season but she seems to be shooting real well as well as extending her range as teams push her further outside. I I will try to find season stats if I can. She is near 300 3,s for her career right now and became all time AC career leader a freshman.

Well I certainly don't consider it sexist, so therefore hope you don't consider my response sexist. I do agree with your statement and I think it goes back to the state of the game. The boys game has gotten to be a foot race, run,dunk, dribble drive etc so therefore shooting from all ranges has suffered. The girls high school game is still about fundamentals of which shooting from outside is critical. IMO alot of the girls college teams are moving toward the running game as well but even at the collegiate level the girls still need to shoot well.

Glad you like this one. However I can't see "alot" of differences but I guess it's each ones perspective. Alot of chances for the polls to move this month with alot of parity but getting to diddle is what matters most.

Senior Makenzie Cann is having a really good year for Anderson County. Being the tallest player on a team of guards she is asked to do alot. She may be running the point on offense and guarding the post on defense. She has had stretches of just ridiculous individual performances when necessary but her biggest asset is making her team better, which is what matters most.

I think the game had gotten too rough, especially the girls games. I know it is tough right now but I hope things will adjust out and coaches, players and refs can all adjust and officiating will not dominate the game for long. The hardest part will probably be consistency from night to night.

In looking at the khsaa website it appears to me that all of the 10-12 pre-season top ranked teams all have 6-8 other pre- seasoned top ranked teams on the schedule. Depending upon how the tournaments play out could change strength of schedules of course. Looks like some good basketball ahead this year with alot of closely matched teams.

Any basis for the prediction? Have you seen both teams? Common opponents etc.

Maybe so but as an Anderson fan I'm hoping for a dry field. As has been the entire season most think Anderson is not very fast. All I can say is keep thinking that. Anderson's biggest obstacle is them self. If they play an entire game and don't get stupid penalties they are pretty good. Having said that I don't see how anyone can predict more than a 3 point win either way. If its a bigger margin than that turnovers will probably be the reason. Should be a great game.

Assumption/larue county should be a good game. Both good teams.

I saw the xp attempt very clear and it looked like a good snap and a designed play. Barker went back, got a little pressure and slipped and went down.

You are right about AC being a second half team and that is frustrating. Looks to me like they cannot put a full game together. They better come to play the entire game.

Okay then hellbird I guess I will have to believe you when you said AC showed you nothing. I agree, they didn't play well at all. Concerning common opponents I was just trying to find logical reasons why Conner will have a running clock against AC as I have not seen them play. And since AC played bad as you said and they still won the game it has to be bad breaks for cooper.

A few questions; concerning turnovers how many did Anderson lose? I think someone said that's why AC won. Now why is so many predicting Conner to kill AC did they play any common opponents and what were the results? Also, I'm sure losing the qb just before the half made an impact however cooper was up by 14 I think when he went out. Where was the defense? Also all of those cheap shots got called sounds like. Don't see how that can benefit any team. Especially when they occur on 4th down stops. My complaint with AC is that all year they seem to only play hard in parts of the game. What you saw at cooper has occurred all year.

What did refs miss?

Maybe find out a few details of the roster before you get too far out there. Anderson with a couple beat up players chose to let them heal for playoffs. Not saying Collins would not have won against a full lineup but don't read too much into the score of this one.
