The Bulldogs should be in a position to end up where they finished last season. The outcomes may not be as dominant, but Male has talent. Close to 150 kids in the program grades 9-12.
The biggest concerns have to be at offensive and defensive line. There were some two and three year starters needing to be replaced.
Offensively there are ZERO returning starters. Quarterbacks Tony Thomas (Sr) and Cam Chesser (Jr) will enter the 7on7 portion of the offseason at the helm but don't count out sophomore to be Garret Dennis. All three have strengths and weaknesses. I'd expect the focus to be on the Oline and getting Dayveon Higgs a steady dose of carries. Playmakers are all over the field. Rasean McCauley at TE will be a major mismatch for any team that loads the box to stop Higgs.
Defensively, TWO starters return in DE/LB Stephon Mayes and CB Nathan Hobbs. The defense can potentially be just as good as last year if there's consistent play on the line. With so much speed and youth, I'm curious if Wolfe sits back and plays coverage or does he go aggressive and blitz.
The scrimmage against Lafayette will go a long way to telling what kind of season we're going to have.
How good will the freshmen team be?

Can some one list their victories?
I know they defeated Manual 50-0 in their last game. They also beat Ballard 63-0 and Eastern by over 50.

Male freshman were undefeated last year. I believe most of Male's best sophomores play varsity only.
