If i were the Athletic Director at Grant County after looking at this thread I would say the obvious choice would be one of John Jones from Gallatin assistants. They would know a formula that has proven to be successful.

You cannot blame the officials period. You as a team, by not playing up to your potential or blowing a lead or a turnover here and there put the game in their hands to "blow it" for you. Look in the mirror, it is not their fault. I have all ways told the kids if you put it in someone else's hands it is your own fault.
Not true but how many times do we have to explain this. It's easy to say if you are not involved.

What a great program. The fan support is as good if not the best in the 8th region. I have no ties to anyone in the program but enjoyed taking my family to a lot of the games this year and plan on it again next year. Congratulations to the players, coaches and parents. It takes all to create a program as good as this one. Definitely have created something to be proud of down there.

Watch and see how the foul is not called until after the shot is past the rim.

I don't think it was one sided just very tight. It's my personal opinion you should let the kids play especially during the tournament. Call at the end was a joke and both teams deserve better. Great year GC. You made the community proud.

The fact is that this game was too good to be decided by that. You never take the game out of the players hands. In this situation I think the true deciding factor is the shooter. Jackson's 3 was a fade away 23 footer that there is no way you make that call. I wouldn't use the word screwed, but definitely a call that most wouldn't want to see decide a game.
One thing that you can say to Gallatin fans is that IF you have the ball with :30 left in a tie game you simply cannot turn it over the way they did giving a 2 on 1. You likely lost the game on that possession. One can always blame refs, but GC shouldn't have been in that situation that it would come down to that call. They had to have a shot when the game was tied and likely a last shot that made the game OT or a win. Never complain if you don't take care of that ball in that situation and moreover when you are up 26-9 you cannot let it be 2 or 3 at the half. I personally thought the game was lost then.
Great ball game though.
Gallatin lost the lead because half the starters were in foul trouble and had to set the 2nd half of the first half. You should have stopped at the fact is a game like that should not be decided by a call like that.

The one ref made himself the most important part of the game with all the bad calls. The one at the end was just the icing on the cake. GC boys deserved better than that. Congrats to South Oldham. Hope they win the whole thing now.
