  2. I agree. Why take a chance at losing his team's confidence and possible injury.

Well, like I said, he just scheduled a game with Iroquois for tomorrow night to make up for tonight's cancellation. And Iroquois is no pushover.

Szabo is not like that, he is not afraid of a fight and his philosophy is to play the best and be battle-tested come tourney time.

  3. Here's ten of our top 20 players rankings...do you agree?

    1. Josh Sewell- G/F - Trinity - Senior (Miami OH Signee)

    2. Ricardo Johnson- F- Holmes - Senior (Ohio Signee)

    3. Ge'Lawn Guyn - G - Scott County - Senior

    4. Elisha Justice - G - Shelby Valley - Senior (UofL Walk-On)

    5. Elijah Pittman - F - Holmes - Senior

    6. Chane Behanan - F - Bowling Green - Junior

    7. Thomas Jackson - G - Jeffersontown - Senior

    8. Chad Jackson - G - Scott County - Senior

    9. Vinny Zollo - F/C - Clark County - Junior

    10. Donovan Gibbs - F - Iroquois - Senior (IUPUI Signee)

  4. Just wanted to let everyone know we are currently doing a "Mid-Season Report" at the Bluegrass Hoops Report. So far we've done interviews with J'town coach Jeff Morrow, Lindsey Wilson College coach Paul Peck, and we posted our Fab 15 team rankings and Top 20 players rankings.

By the end of the week we will have interviews posted with Shelby Valley's Elisha Justice, Franklin County's Vance Hall, and a few other top coaches and players. There will also be some more features on local NAIA schools.

Who else would you like to see us do a Q&A with?

  5. With their recent Louisville Invitational Tournament title, Trinity and Josh Sewell have made history winning the "big 3" regular season tournaments held in Kentucky, with the senior forward Sewell winning the MVP award of all three. They beat Ballard, Eastern, and J'town in 2 days to win the LIT and look to me like the most complete team in the state.

Who do you think deserves the top spot? Is Trinity better than Scott County, Holmes, and the other top teams outside of Louisville?

  6. Vance Hall from Franklin County has to be mentioned. He can do it all score, pass, rebound and play defense. Hall is the Flyers team.

He's not top 5, but look at my previous post, I mentioned him. He is a great offensive player, I saw them play Jtown. If he had a better team around him he would get more praise but unfortunately he doesn't.

  7. Josh Sewell - Trinity, Senior (Signed w/ Miami OH)

Chane Behanan - Bowling Green, Junior (De-committed from Cincinnatti)

Ricardo Johnson - Holmes, Senior (Signed w/ Ohio)

Elisha Justice - Shelby Valley, Senior (Walking-on at UofL)

Chad Jackson - Scott Co., Senior (Offers from WVU and Xavier)

Next Best (in no particular order):

    Jaylen Beckham - LexCath, Sophomore

Ge'Lawn Guyn - Scott Co., Senior

    Thomas Jackson - Jtown, Senior

    Remy Abell - Eastern, Junior

    Elijah Pittman - Holmes, Senior

Daryl Hicks - Shelby Co., Freshman

Dakotah Euton - Scott Co., Senior

Vance Hall - Franklin Co., Senior

  8. I played on the Trinity team that won the 7th region title in 2004, which was the school's first ever trip to the Sweet 16. Everyone knows how competitive the 7th region is, especially this year, when right now the majority of the top ten teams in the STATE will all be competing for ONE spot in the state tournament.

However, having been a part of a team that NO ONE gave a chance at the beginning of the year to make it out of the 7th region and into Rupp, I know its possible and would hate to take that chance of a "Cinderella" run away from future players and teams.

Please DO NOT change our one-class system... it is so unique and has so much history and it was an AMAZING experience that I will never forget.
