  1. To all of the seniors thank you for all of the good times you have provide all of us fans through the years

It seems like only yesterday you guys were putting the pads on for your first game back in seventh grade and here in a few days some of you will be putting on the pads for the last time.

To the group who will wear the pads for the last time this week

Go out and have fun and play as hard as you ever have played before

So your love for the game with your play

Do not allow the score of the game to dictate the passion and commitment you play with this week

Go out with class and respect for the game and most of all let your coaches and teammates know you are there for them and have nothing but love for all they have do for you and all you have done for them

To the seniors who are moving on to play in week eleven

Make sure you too play with class and go out of your way to congratulate the seniors you are playing against for all they have accomplished on the field

Make it a point to shake hands with not only your coaches but the opposing teams coaches. Most of them you have played against before and you know more than any fan how much work they put into each class they have.

To the seniors who are moving on to play college ball

I have heard from so many over the years

No matter what level you are going to play college ball at

No matter what success you have on the field in college

You will never forget your Friday Nights under the lights

So during your game this week or next

Make sure you take a second on the field to take in just how lucky you are

To have played this game for your school and with your teammates and your communities

Never before has these words”PLAY EVERY PLAY LIKE IT IS YOUR LAST” EVER RUNG SO TRUE FOR SO MANY ON WEEK TEN OF YOUR SENIOR YEAR

Copied from a post last year

  2. #27, I don't know his name. Early indications were a break and maybe a tear of some sort involving where the patella connects somewhere. Lots of medical terms thrown around that were over my head. Hoping for a smooth surgery and a quick recovery for the young man.
Looked ugly, hope he is OK and the good docs at St. E can patch him up. Dixie's running game was too much tonight for the Coopsquad. Good luck to Cooper in the playoffs. Tonight was Senior night, and football aside, was so impressed with all the scholastic grades and achievements of the football team seniors.
  3. I noticed some Chick-Fil-A signs on the I-75 state that Chick-Fil-A is closed on Sunday. I get why that is important to Chick-Fil-A but I don't ever remember seeing any other signs that added information (other than open 24 hours which I think benefits the everyone for safety reasons) about a restaurant. In other words, shouldn't the sign just say Chick-Fil-A without any specifics about their business?

Is Chick-Fil-A getting preferential treatment from the government?

seriously ? the economy is a mess - gas is 4 bucks - cant sell your house - cant get a good job - somebody closes on Sunday cause they care about God and employees and you got a problem. What in the name of wide wide wide sports did the Government give a break to Christians. Wake up America (and Guru)

  4. Don't count on it. As long as dad's continue to coach Judy and Jane every step of the way, from Little Colonels to Shining Poop Thunder's U18, they will think they know better.

Fortunately, they can't touch her track record, High School, College, WNBA.

Every school has parent problems - she will be welcomed at Cooper with open arms with her talent and record. Can't wait for the first game against Nell. Hopefully this will become a great rivalry
