Never said i hope he fails. I actually said he could play many different positions at that level. But yes, age does make a difference. Not trying to bash the kid.

People shouldn't be mad when people "bash" Pike. This whole sight is for people to share there opinions about teams, games, and players. Pike is the QB. The most important position in any sport. So he is bound to receive more of a bashing than he deserves and more credit than he deserves. That is just the way it is.

Dixie has been the same way for years. Whether they are up 20 points or down 50. They run what they run and don't adjust for anything or anyone.

Pike could get a D1 scholarship at many different positions for different reasons. He has NFL bloodlines, he is 6'5, and he is a year and a half older than other seniors. Colleges love the fact that his body is another year maturer than others. But yes, a coaches job is to put players into the position to make a play. Then its the players job to actually make the catch, tackle, etc. Does anyone know how the Dixie players feel about there coaches?

Most any top team from Florida and California would destroy Highlands. Highlands is great in Kentucky but Kentucky doesnt have the overall Athletes that other states do. For example Lakleland from FL at one time had 8 Players committed to play SEC ball. Trinity and Highlands could have one or two standouts. but other states football powerhouses have 5-10 players that will not only shine in HS but also they will dominate in the SEC.

I like the Colonels in this one. But CCH hasn't played well against the birds in recent years. So wouldn't doubt an upset here.

Still believe that Ludlow has the edge this year.

Like many big men Pike seems to foul often. Is this the first game he fouled out.

It is comments like this that cause my despise of the Colonels. I wish the Camels would have been at full strength last night. Unfortunately, they were not and the Colonels capitalized on it. Nothing more, nothing less.

 

Saying it should have been a 40 point game does nothing but spit in the eyes of the Camels who did play and played their hearts out.

 

Too bad these two teams do not play later in the season. I think the result would be much different.

If you're going to like/dislike a team/school because of the actions of their fans/students then CCH should be everyones favorite team. CCH has very strict rules for their students and players. If a student steps out of line then the administration is quick to put them back in line! It is almost sickening to hear of a 15 year old kid getting threatened in a public place because he is wearing a CCH shirt (and yes this happens very often). It is horrible when a CCH fan is refused food at another school feild because they are a CCH fan (and yes this has personally happened to me). To hate CCH is nothing but out of jealousy. TO hate a Catholic school that does nothing but strive to help its students and the community is nothing but crazy!

CCH vs. Dixie should be a good one. The blue Colonels always seem to edge out the red Colonels though for the last 40 or so years.....

Are the two King boys from Deming brothers? Cousins?

What happened to St. Henry? They usually have a very competitive team. What is their JV and frosh teams like?

Was Dixie sleep walking through the 1st half? This game sounds pretty crazy but the #1 ranked team in NKY shouldn't be going to over time with Montgomery Co. But teams do have bad games and teams have good games. So was Dixie just not playing their game or are they not as talented as people say?

Cov Cath has very quick guards too. Look for the Colonels to win this one by 10+

This one has to surprise most. Not that Brossart won but that they held HHS to under 40 points

Good win but most can agree St. X is not the best of teams. The thing that is so good about CCH this year is they do not rely of outside shooting for their points. They have outside shooting but its not what makes them good. Outside shooting can often go cold but I don't see the inside game doing that.

But when was the last time Dixie won a regional championship? In any sport for that matter. Year in year out they will do something to lose a big game, especially against CCH. Don't need to be a CCH fan to know/see that.

This is the second Campbell County game I've been to this year, did not expect to see them win tonight I must admit.

I never said I was at the CCH game, though I've seen them play a few times this year. I had a friend relay me the information. At was at this game untill about 2 minutes left in the 4th
