Why is that such a main question? Is the center not returning?
No he was a Senior last season, we have a few possibilities as to who could play center, Jeremy Ray, Alex Drifmeyer, or even a junior who may return John Schneider. The question is so big because the position is a pivotal point of the line, and if that can't hold the whole line will fail.

1. Highlands
2. Beechwood
3. CovCath
4. NewCath
5. Simon Kenton
6. Boone County
7. Bellevue
8. Campbell County
9. Newport
10. Walton
The last 3 are just kind of thrown in there to get to 10 teams. Campbell is just to big of a school not to be good. Newport has the quickness to be an unvelievable D and I love was coach McMillen is doing in Walton. They were decent last year and will only be stronger this year. I look for them to truly shock some people in Disctrct play in 1A.
I'm sorry but I can't even begin to remember when the last time Newport beat Lloyd??? Now Walton?? Come on guys we want legitimate contestants. And Bellevue, what is this world coming to? Now I know Lloyd isn't the best but what about Conner, Holmes or Holy cross. :idunno:

Yeah. And actually having a legit O and D line would help too.
ha ha I'm pretty sure the O and D lines did farely well last year simply for the fact that the Jr QB had all day to throw, he just wasn't so good at it.

With such a small choice as from who to choose from Coach Lucas may have to change some positions around. Whitey is a DE or Guard, he's way too small to play Center. Drifmeyer has previously played center when Creech couldn't come in. Schneider may not come back which leaves Ben, Disco, Drif or maybe an underclassman to fill the gap. However, with this situation this still leaves the O-line short a player or so.
