Are we trying to make excuses for them?
So losing two of your top scorers is an EXCUSE for not winning as many games as expected? I think its a valid REASON! Or does it depend on what team it happens to? If it happens to your team it's a reason but if it happens to SK it's an excuse? What a joke! Who from SK thinks they are better than other 8th region people? Sounds like someone didn't get their nap today!

We are hoping Nick will return middle of Feb. Dr. Colosemo says he is where he should be as far as recovery. He gets the pin removed Monday the 17th so we will find out more then. As for Coach Steiner, look at the hand he was dealt. We have several Sophs and Juniors with little or no varsity experience playing major minutes. And we all know young players are what? Inconsistent! And oh by the way they have played most of the season without their leading scorer(Cody) and another starter(Nick). So IMO they are still learning to play together. Let's call them a work in progress! Where would Dixie be if you took Hatton and Pike or Stansberry out of the mix? The objective is to be peaking in Feb. and March not January.

He gets cleared the 9th

I stand corrected- bad sprain for Nick Gray's wrist- should be back in 2-3 weeks. His experience with the Shining Stars this summer has really helped. From what I've seen they look pretty good. 9 or 10 pretty solid players. If the stars align just right this team could make some noise in the 8th Region

Nick Gray fractured his wrist Tuesday @ the team camp. Should be out 6 to 8 weeks

Who looks strong/weak next year?

Nick Gray (Simon Kenton) Devontae Bradley (Cooper) are also on this team

Back to the drawing board for SK. Thoughts on next years team?

Matt Basham is also a senior. Free throw attempts were very lopsided. Do they call charges in the 6th Region?

I also think WV will make some noise in the 8th Region tournament

If WV is so much more talented, why are they 0-3 vs. SK this year? I thought they got a little help from the zebras to stay as close as they did. And as for their defense, SK is an average defensive team at best. IMO, Doss needs to be getting more minutes. Hats off to some of the parents from WV- after the game I saw them congratulate some of SK players. Thats CLASS!

10 years 100 wins - thats not a very good record- is no one accountable? It's not always the players fault when they lose, but that seems to be the theme at SK. Anyone else see it any different?
