Male threw a kid by the name Oiler ( sp )...kept them off balance with off-speed and fastballs. Both teams played really well.

Not a very good pitched game on both sides.

The 6A state championship was last Friday in Union, IMO.

No true at all, there are 90 kids on Male's team that have worked their tails off that say otherwise. I hear that cliche all the time, I heard it last week that the T and X game was the State Championship. Male had nothing to do with the way the brackets turned out all they did is kept winning and have made it to the Championship. Trinity is a awesome team no doubt about it, but the Dawgs are going to show-up do their best and see what happens.

YOu were doing pretty well -- right up to that point.

According to the Guru they gave out the 6A trophy last Friday at PJCS!

No way Scott wins by 14 they have not played the regular season schedule or competition Male has played and there is no way Scott can contain Male's speed. More weapons than Male, I don't think so. The dogs beat them bad at Toyota stadium last time in 07, but this time it will be a better game.

Big game for the district championship!

Why would Ballard and Male switch places both are 6-2 and Male beat Ballard. I know I sound like a broken record, but it makes no sense. Frakes from the Courier and the AP Poll are the only ones who have it right.

T will win 24-10, BTW how is Ballard the best public school in the state when Male beat them and only lost to X with 18 seconds to go. Ballard has a fine team but it amazes me how even after the Dawgs beat them and go 6-2 so far, how they still are not mentioned as the best public school this season.

I guess coach Red saw it coming, should put Highlands in 6A District 4 also. Put the top teams in one district and then the state championship game can be 76-0. Those games are fun to watch. LOL

Could be either one. X and T would likely have to face each other to win region and that winner would play the region winner of NKY vs. Eastern KY. On that side of the bracket you have X, T, Ballard and Ryle arguably the 4 best teams in 6A. I will predict right now that whoever survives will blast the team from the otehr side,[/quote

How in the world is X, T, Ryle and Ballard "arguably" the best 4 teams in 6A, when Male beat Ballard. Hmm doesn't make any sense. With their defense I would venture to say that Male is better than Ryle too. I hope everyone keeps disrespecting Male its seems to be more chalkboard material for them.

Male a middle of the road team? I don't think so. They have proven that on the field.

Roller coaster not that far downhill!

Coach Wolfe has done an outstanding job with a Male team this season that is not overly endowed with talent. Both Ballard and Manual are far above the Bulldogs on the talent scale, but Male will make anyone work hard for whatever they get. Sorry you feel so disrespected.

The Bruins defense is as good as the Bulldogs, and their offense featuring Parker, Hardin, Crawford, Wallace, and Flippens is much better. Ballard will handle Male much easier than St. X. did. I'm going to wait a couple of days, however, before venturing a final score.

How is Ballard's defense as good as Male's when you compare simililar opponents: Central- 0 points scored on them, St. X 14 given up, what are Ballard's totals? I believe they have given up alot more. Male has been very disrespected on Bluegrass this year by just about everyone (except a few) I believe Coach Wolfe has done a great job this year and should be commended.

Just hoping for a competitive game.
