Colerain and Elder were neck and neck as to being the best team in Cincinnati and probablyl the best team in Ohio this year( Colerain took Elder into overtime last week in their Division 1 showdown last week in the Semis in Ohio.) Colerain would put up 500+ on ANY team in Ky, and probably 1000+ on any team not Named Trinity, St. X, or Highlands.........believe it! If you think HHS might not be one of the top two or three teams in the State up until now, Well, I think your kidding yourself!!!! We shall see Friday night as I also believe this is the 5A championship game!!:ylsuper:

Dont kid yourself top teams dont struggle with Bryan Station like Hilands did.

I think JC proved there a awsome matchup for anyone in 5a football when they scored over 100 points in the 1st 2 play off games and the only reason we had any trouble against BS our QB who also had 4 tds against Ashland for all of you who think were a one way team did not play a second against station but will be under center friday in the state championship game not played in Papa Johns this year but at EAGLE FIELD.

I know this doesn't mean much, but I thought it was interesting that there are eight sets of guys on the JC team with the same last name. And two of those are a set of three. Now, whether all those are related or not, I don't know. But looking at their roster I kept coming across the same names over and over. If you're curious, here's the list:

JC is the NUMBER 1 ranked team in the nation in rushing i dont think Highlands is number 1 in anything and C.C fans were the ones after a week of small talk on this site that went home crying JC 29 Bluebirds 7 .

Did not see a unbeatable team when watching film this week QB for Highlands. Very slow, not enough talent to beat JC.

Congrats to all the eagles WOW Dennis Dillon sure put on a show of Leadership 3 on the ground and one in the air keep your head up Ashland your a great team from a great school good luck in playoffs but just for the books it could have been 63-0 for all those football masterminds who called me crazy!|!!!|!!!!

Lets not make it sound like JK Hall isnt a quality QB as was the reason JC struggled with BS. Granted he is somewhat fumble prone, but he is also very athletic and one of our fastest players. He brings another deminsion to the game that Dennis cant. Both are great QB's and JC is lucky to have both. I would like to see JC put up 64 but Ashlands defense is much better than you are giving them credit for.

JK will be one of the greatest QBs ever or any thing else Matney puts him doing he can do it all just replying to a fan who was putting down Dillons stats up to now in a offence that everyone knows can pass cant pass does not matter were going to run run run!!!!!!!

The best Ashland fans can hope for is that Dillon was the QB agianst Brian Station, Which he was not. The Back up QB fumbled seven times four of which station recovered. A stat that you can throw out when Dillon steps under center Friday night in Ashland. He don't have to throw when the team has 3,000 plus yards on the ground agianst alot better competition, then the EAGLES will face on Friday. Lets see if you are laughing at the QB Friday with three minutes left in the fourth JC 64 and Ashlad whatever Matney allows them.

WOW Dennis Dillon is 16-0 as a varsity Q.B congrats to all the Eagles how can anyone single out on this team great job J.C.H.S line Nate Dillon Case Richardson Tanner Bratton three of the most powerful backs in the state at any level and for the record J.C.H.S. beat Bell Co easy in front of W.Y.M.T. reporter in a scrimmage how they rank them obove J.C.H.S is beyond me J.C.H.S. 34 Asland 0

WOW!!! The O-Line is AWESOME, The D-Line is AWESOME, The Deffensive Backs is AWESOME, The Offensive Backs is AWESOME, The Fans are AWESOME,The Coaching Staff is AWESOME, THe Q.B. is AWESOME.

I heard some Woodford Co, Fans at halftime say If it don.t get no better than this , we just as well go home, The Q.B. for J.C. just hides the ball to well.

What Woodford didn't allow for was that Dennis Dillon didn't play in the Bryan Station game. WAY TO GO EAGLES !!!

Jonson Central Dillon/Richardson combo and now Bratton along with yhe fact Dennis Dillon was not Q.B. against B STATION leads me to beleve Crntral 38-14!!!!

Great to have Dennis Dillon back WOW what a brave young man Eagles big O not the same without him, way to go Nathan Dillon 3 big T.D.s. 83 yd int & return great job coach Matney and staff this was another very good team beat by J.C. this year.

Yes Dillon is out for the season.

Johnson Central has two great powerful backs mabe the best duo in J.C.H.S history Dillon & Richardson really run and block hard J.C 28 Station 21 the train is coming.

Yes, this should be a VERY good football game.

 

At this point, Prestonsburg's offense is probably more explosive than Johnson Central's (Breathitt Co.'s last opponent), but the Blackcat defense is not up to the Eagle's standard.

 

Bottom line...there's a chance they'll be a LOT of points from both sides scored at Blackcat Field next week.

I was there and any one who was could have seen J.C. to much for Bell.
