Not sure what happened on my attempt to reply to Mooremiller post. I was trying to say that Mike Allen only played 3 years of varsity because in the late 80s high school students attended high school from 10th to 12th grade, freshman were still in junior high, and Mike did played his junior high basketball at Winburn and did not play high school as a freshman. Which makes his point total even more impressive......sorry for the previous post that is cut off, I will try to delete it

Also, Mike Allen and Taveion's numbers are from 9th
Actually Mike Allen only played varsity for 3 years, because in the late 80s high schools were only for students 10

No clue how or what happened just know the game changed from that moment . (not sure looking at the crazies is taunting but how could you help but not do that with those guys over there ...they're incredible)

The crazies are what make high school basketball great! kudos to them. As far as the game is concerned, I think it would've been a completely different second half if Luke Johnson had not rolled his ankle. He was getting where he wanted until then. Cov Cath will be in the mix come March for all the marbles, very good team. Think same will be true for Lex Cath.

Good hire

This also helps to show that you don't have to attend XYZ National Super Prep to get noticed as some people think/will lead you to believe. UK going to little Pendleton Co. to look at a kid. If you are good enough, they will find and come to YOU.
Well they "found" him bc he plays AAU on the shoe circuit. Its not like they were scouting him at the Pendleton Co/Robertson Co game! Sure, they drove to Falmouth to go check him out, but that's not where he was "found".

They have any talent returning?
-
Who is interested in the job? Brandon Cooper? Anyone else from the 12th or nearby?
-
Ryan Wilson should get it

Congrats to both teams

Just can't please some people!

Boy, GRC sure has fallen off since their state tournament team 4 years ago. 0-1 in region tourney games since that group of Zollo, Stenzel, Daniel, etc... left?
-
Game didn't matter one bit. It did not effect seeding. It gives them an L...that's it. Big deal, this is their best record in years. They have been fantastic this season. The only effect I can see is positive rather than negative. He honored the kids that gave years to that program. Kids that went to 100s of practices, ran 1000s of sprints, etc... If these kids were special needs kids we put the game on SportsCenter and he is a hero. But, since they are normal HS kids who fought for 4 years the coach gets blasted for letting them play 8 minutes? Wow. Tough crowd. Brooks has done more for that program than anyone lately. They were a joke before he got there. Kudos Coach!

Tough to come up with this list. So many good ones.

Coach Hinson will get them right
-
Paris by about 20. 4 or 5 starters back from last year. Better talent. Better coaching. I do not see this game being close.

This is the 2nd time you've gone after someone who has tried to praise a coach, AD, school or whoever for doing the right thing. Why is that?
Because I don't believe someone should be praised for DOING THE RIGHT THING. Never heard anyone praise coaches because their kids were ineligible. Blows my mind.
I like Tommy. Have no problem with him at all. Feel free to praise him for putting up with everything that goes into being the Bryan Station coach. But this isn't an issue of him doing a heroic act. He had no choice.
