  1. Make sure you clean their trail. They leave a track of urine to/from their nest and food source. Even if you spray around your cabinets, they can still come back.

EWWW, we have the big ants. they creep me out. I am considering that Terro.

  2. Great job, Mrs. FF! :thumb: It helps so much to know that your hard work is paying off. It makes it that much easier to stick with a program. If you haven't already, you will be seeing a difference in your clothes pretty soon. I use that as a gauge more so than a scale.

Thank you. Today the shirt I put on fit so good and it used to be pretty snug. and my belt is on a tighter notch. I am thinking I have lost inches around my waist. Knowing it is working just motivated me to a whole new level.

  3. Just finished Day 5, Pure Cardio. All I can say is WOW! No rest breaks throughout those 15 one-minute drills is brutal!

They are a Killer. I am on day 7 today. I love being able to say that I feel great. I am slowly seeing results. I haven't weighed myself since I started but I am buying a scale today.

  4. I did the Fit Test yesterday and the first workout today. I can honestly say my legs have not felt this fatigued in a very long time. I know I'm in good shape because I've been doing P90X so long, but wow--Insanity wore me out. I got through the whole thing, but I had to take short 5-10 secs breaks now and then. I can see myself doing a P90X-Insanity hybrid when I'm finished with this program. I definitely do not want to lose the strength gains I've made with P90X, especially with pulls up and such.

I am so with you on the leg fatigue. I am not that in shape and I was in pain for 3 days. Friday was my recovery, and I switched my days off so today I go to the Pure Cardio. That recovery was hard. I went from crazy calf pain to thigh pain. It is just moving up my body HAHAHA. I finally don't hurt today. ( a little slow doing stairs though) But I am sure after pure cardio I will be right back where I started. I love the feeling after wards.

  5. Its a great feeling when you finish each workout. By the end of each workout you definitely feel like you have accomplished something.

Don't you love those "recovery" workouts? The first time we did that workout my wife was screaming, "This is not recovery!!!".

Today is the Cardio recovery for me. Thanks for the warning lol.

  6. I started seeing results after the 2 week mark. My wife began seeing results around there too.

Good to know. I know I feel better even though today is just day 4. I hate it during but after wards I am so refreshed. My calves have been sore for 4 days lol...and yesterday the abs started. At least I know I am doing it right.

  7. I thought about trying P90X but there just isn't enough weights in it for me. I like lifting too much. I have starting to incorporate alot of CrossFit into my workouts. You talk about killer.

Oh I have heard about CF. Great results though.

  8. Yes, day 1 warm ups were rediculious. As I was working through the warm ups I was thinking this isn't too bad, by the time I finished the warmups I was drenched and near exhaustion. Then the real workout started.

That's when I thoght, what did I do to myself.:ohbrother:

Your going to have to let me know what this is like when you make it to month 2.

I am on day 3 and my legs are killing me. I can barely walk....I am assuming I need to push through but will it get better?

  9. Insanity! It's all cardio and put out by the same company. Any strength training in the program uses your own body weight for resistance. Personally, I prefer Insanity over P90X for this reason. However, as the name of the program suggests, the workouts are absolutely INSANE!

Where can I get that? Will it give the same results, in the same amount of time?

  10. To add some positivity to this thread. I will say that the S&S Tire I've dealt with locally has been good. They never try to sell you anything unless you really need it, i.e. you have a bald tire that needs replaced or they just pulled a nail out of your tire and it'd probably be best to have it fixed. They're also the cheapest chain store around for oil changes.

I always liked going to Valvoline because it was convenient. You just pull in and you're out in roughly 20 minutes, but the selling they try to do gets ridiculous. I did talk with a guy who worked at a Valvoline and he said that corporate wanted them to get at least $36 from every customer.

We go to Valvoline. We just go in and say we want an oil change and that is it. If we want something else we will ask for it. They respect that. But they have pushed us to get random things before.
