The coaches can nominate players but cannot vote for their own players.

I say let's all go to the game & see. If the game is called like last night's first game. It will be great game to watch. PC gave them a run earlier & can do it again.

I think all the Pendleton players were determined to win the game. When the starters hit the floor they were ready. Their teamwork was great. When Jones came off the bench he gave PC energy. He can get them fired up. Student section was great! Congrats PC!

Good job Bracken Co., good teamwork.

Great win Polar Bears!

Sounds like someone needs a new scorekeeper!!!!!!!!
That's funny!!!!

Monroe played great. Monroe & Cooper helped the Wildcats win. Wildcats need to kick the ball back out & wouldn't have as many turnovers. Driving & leaving their guards wide open almost cost them the game. They played good as a team but still need to improve.
Pendleton County played a hard fought game and deserved this win. Their offense looked more like the dribble drive then CCHS did. I don't agree that Mason Monroe won that battle though. Mason made things happen for his offense with assist but not much scoring, he also played pretty good D. McGovney didn't see half as much time due to foul trouble and scored 5 w/ 5 boards and 1 assist. I would say what they brought to the table was pretty even. Pendleton County won the battle tonight.Camels need to keep working on this new offense because that offense looked liked last years, when I heard dribble drive I was expecting a lot more running up and down the court and not so much passing. Code is got time to get this right though. I believe he can do it. Needs to have it done before next week against are district rival Brossart.

How have the Pendelton boys performed in 18 hole tournaments this season? What tournaments have they played in?
Wildcats played in St. Patrick/Mason Co Tournament - 2nd place; Tom Johnson Grant County Inv. - 2nd place; Montgomery County Inv. - ?
Congratulation Wildcats! Good Luck at State!

Does anyone know the results of the tournament?

I think one of the keys to Harrison's win was their defense. Holding PC's leading scorer on the year to 4 points I believe. It was like he wasn't in the game. He hardly touched the ball at all.
My thoughts exactly. PC done just what HC wanted, leave him out of the game.

I'm also looking forward to seeing the KY Allstars take on Indiana this year. Wonder who will stand out and lead Kentucky this year.
Do you know what the date is for this? Or about what date this is held?

You may not want to forget Jones and Farrell who hit big threes in this game also polarwildcat. They played as a team also. :idunno:
That's why I said "they" played as a team. I meant the whole team. I was just saying 5 in double figures & that is great for "their teamwork". Jones & Ferrell are part of the team, not just the ones that score, even the bench are part of the team.

I hope this was meant to be a joke because Deming never plays great defense. This is the reason why they don't win games that they should. Until the coach realizes that defense wins games this program will never improve to where it should be with the talent they have. On a side note Rex Schalch was dressed tonight and played a few minutes. Great to see you back on the court Rex!!
This wasn't meant as a joke! Both teams played great defense.

Deming played great defense on PC shooters & left Monroe open. They gave him the ball. They played as a team. Great win PC! Four other PC players were in double figures also - Moeves, Cooper, Walsh & Greene. Keep it up!

Give them credit Wildcats record is 3-11

I was just thinking. I have watched several teams & I have not seen a game all year with the give & go. Wonder why?

"Other times throughout spring and summer they are playing on different traveling teams. From what I've seen these games are playing soley on offensive ability and the ability to score one on one. "
This is so true, that is what is wrong with players now. Why can't a coach teach the player to fundmentally play team ball? It can be done, I have seen this happen. Coaches can give a player bench time if the player doesn't want to listen or play as a team, not one on one.

Sorry I got off my own topic. Hit a nerve. What coach teaches fundamental basketball (rebounding, shot selection, defense, moving without the ball, etc.)?
When you find out let us all know.

Great game! I agree the Wildcat did not win that game but came back with 25 down & lost by 3. They won as a team by playing that way. They fed it to the hot player. Does anyone know what the record is for the most points in a quarter?

Wildcats has a good team. Like I have said before they need to play as a team & hit the open man. They can play ball & win. They need to play unselfish & they did in this game. Keep working hard & it will pay off.
-
Cooper & Walsh put it in the hoop. They played as a team, hitting the open man.

Pendleton county needs to jell as a team before all of the subs are in. You can't take 5 out & put 5 in & keep the starters focused. They are young but they need confidence. Sure any of the players would all look good coming off the bench if they were playing any team's bench give or take a few players. The starters need to shoot more & not be afraid to be benched if they shoot & miss.
Pendleton County 61 Harrison County 60

How many points did Antrobus, Bonar, Monroe and Walsh score?
