Kudos to Wayne Co's radio station 93.1. They broadcast the Raider game and it was almost like having our home station (if we had one) broadcast!! Greatly appreciated by those of us who couldn't make the trip!!:dancingpa

I am not going to disclose why, but I think the Raiders may just defeat the 2 time defending 12 region champion Patriots of Lincoln County tonight in Stanford. :eek:

I think if you will read up on your legalities on this, this has 10-15 day period to respond to the judge, either to question it or what was said in the hearing. This is far from over Im afraid. The key to this is someone is clearly trying to hurt the kid. This was not what the McCreary people made this out to be. If everyone would take time to hear what the family said about the move, its becomes crystal clear. :thumb:

Like I said, these girls can't stand to get yelled at and their parents think they are little princes's........hey wake up, they are athletes. I here you talking about Wayne Co coaches i will bet the farm the yell and get on their player's butts all of the time! The asst. coach should have shown support for Waters instead he didn't which caused a division which is the reason the program is where it is at not because Waters is a bad coach because I have seen Waters take bad teams and turn them into winners but he had support!

Well, I thought the title to this thread was 12th region: What's new?. . . not McCreary Central, McCreary Central, McCreary Central! This region is anybody's this year!!!

Then maybe people from other teams should get on in support of their teams. I guess we can't fault McCreary Central for supporting theirs.

Anyone heard any more news about Aaron?

The last I heard was 8 weeks of rehab. That is coming from his coaches who went to see him last night.

..Didn't mean to jump to conclusions. It just seems that people are already counting him and the Raiders out for the season. It's sad when people get excited about other people's misfortunes. I heard from a family friend that he was going into surgery sometime this morning for extensive reconstructive surgery and that he would be out a couple of months for physical therapy. Hopefully this is true and he'll make a speedy recovery.

Will this effect basketball season?

I guess a lot of teams are breathing a sigh of relief...nice to know everyone is thinking about his health and not how this will affect their basketball season....:confused:

There are enough Rob Jones haters to fill Rupp Arena. Why does everyone care so much about what he does or does not do? He's not a bad guy.

Anyone heard anything about the KHSAA ruling on Morrow's eligibility?

On Morrows elgibility,see my above post. Hearing at KHAAA this week. Any news on who is playing for McCreary this year? Vanover is a nice player not to play. Heard that she may be moving also.

Shouldn't it be about the boys playing rather than the people watching? If it's too far to travel...stay home and catch the next home game.

I agree seniors should have their day but it is rough for fans traveling this far that have to work Fri

I think that's what I heard too and from what I heard she is still there even though they "had" to move to Wayne Co.

I'm not sure but I think her mom works at the board of education.

I heard that she was ruled eligible but that the AD and coaches from McCreary County were going to challenge it because they still have a residence in McCreary Co and maybe a member of her family still has a job in the school system at McCreary County. But I don't know for sure.
