Why, then, when I sit in the stands and watch the CCH football games, do I hear the rumble of the parents who are dissatisfied...and I've even heard them say they are refusing support to the current coaches because they are waiting to give their support to the "new" coach? As a spectator, I can only imagine what those boys are hearing at home. And we all know that what is said at home definitely affects the attitude on the field.
Where's the respect for the hard work that I do see from these people?

Heard a rumor that he had been approached....any truth to it?

You are right so far he really has put a nice program together got air-conditioning in locker room and painted Eagle logo on floor and put chains around it and told no one to walk on it. Things are turning for the better in Taylor Mill.
PLAYOFFS-07
PLAYOFFS- 08 DOUBTFUL UNLESS THEY BEAT DIXIE !!!!!!!!!!::thumb::thumb:
Why would Grant County put an Eagle in their locker room????
I'm not sure air conditioning and a painted eagle can turn a team around.

Duh....let me think????
-
Maybe it was to pump them up so they would come out and run the ball back for their next touchdown!!!

And I can tell you that when that football player son grows up to be a football player coach...it doesn't end!!! And always...no matter what is going on on the field, I have one eye on my son and see everything he is doing. The pride is unbelievable!!!!

Yes CCH does have a very big and experienced offensive line this year. That being said, it looked like it was there first varsity play from scrimmage each and every down last week. I look for the CCH offense in particular to challenge themselves and rise to the occasion. I hope that the play-calling does as well. I just feel like at this point the sad truth is that it does not matter how big or experienced you are if the offensive line did not do the job in the weightroom and in the preparing an effective blocking scheme. Trust me when I say I have personal ties with the CCH football program and the line may be big but they have yet to prove they are strong.
Not sure what game you were watching. Here is what Scout.com saw from the Carnnal Mooney game. Look at what Bob Lichtenfels says about the offensive linemen for CCH and then what he says about Johnny Simon. Johnny is the 6th rated defensive tackle in the nation. You can obviously say what you want about CCH, but I think Coach Brossart, his player's, and the rest of his staff might deserve a little more credit that we are giving them. Scout.com seems to be giving them some credit.

Again...no one is talking...
What's going on out there????

Just heard that Campbell is down to only 4 coaches....He's going to have to be "magical" to field a team with that kind of support!!
-
Things sure are quiet...makes you wonder what's going on at those practices.
-
Booooooo lol, but congrats to Casey. Will he be teaching there or is he just strictly coaching.
Why would you Booooooo that?
-
I'm not sure where you get your information, but I know first hand that Coach Campbell should be prepared to spend 18-hour days at SHS. He will also need to brush up on his field-grooming skills because he will be the one to do everything from cutting the grass to emptying the garbage. Too bad "coaching" isn't the only job he has signed on for.

So what's with this new guy??? It's been almost 2 weeks since the big announcement followed by a meeting with the team....a week later!! Other than that, is he in hiding?
-
Sit back and wait for the "big show." Apparently the new guy has the same coaching style as the new principal's administrative style. He has never encountered anything like the "machine" at SHS.

No names, of course, but it was from a person who considers himself "in the know." Guess he isn't.
