  3. Cannot believe the girl from Notre Dame did not win the outstanding female swimmer of the state meet. Sets 3 state records and wins 2 individual events and did not win the award. What was the deal? Ellen Williamson was the best female swimmer at the state meet.

     

    This isn't typical of sports that use scoreboards, not to take anything away from the young lady from Beechwood who is a very accomplished athlete, this feels like a figure skating or gymnastics controversy where judges evaluations produce the end result. I'm not a chlorine head nor do I know much about the sport, but three state records, two individual, one of which had been held since 1993, in the 200 IM? Judges, Coaches, c'mon?
