I am not positive, but did a player at South Oldham player (Carrithers) recently sign to play for Happy at Georgetown College? If so, congrats are in order.

If North Oldham will sign off that he didn't play a varsity sport while at their school then he will be eligible and it doesn't have to be addressed by the KHSAA - by rule.

used to be a 20 days rule..may still be in effect, enrolled stayed longer than 20 days established eligibility.. he was there longer than 20 days..could possible have to set out the 36 weeks....not sure

The AAU coach is not a paid coach for North Oldham but his son's friendship with Hicks as well as Hicks playing for him in AAU is definitely an advantage.

actually you don't have to be a paid coach ( like he needs the $) he did coach their young team at team camp.. thus he is a acting representative of the school.

Their coach has done an outstanding job of building a program. North is becoming the basketball school of the county.

Building a program is one thing.. move-ins are 'not' to be included in building a program...natives in that area are getting restless with the move ins!!

Actually Colonel Mike , there are 2 transfers at the present.. famous on from Shelby, and another from a Jefferson Co. school....stay tuned for updates

Long time boys coach at Oldham Co. has decided to retire after 33 year of teaching/coaching...6 regional titles....who gets this job?

The only problem is that two of the districts are loaded. Anderson, Franklin, Western Hills, South Oldham, Oldham and Shelby are the most consistent programs. You wanna stick ALL of those teams into two districts?

Looks like a 'personal agenda' sticking all the Oldham's and Shelby together!! Ouch!!

Here I am Sports'nut' , you gotta be kidding....we just went through this a couple years back! I agree . It's a 'haul' for SK...an they gripe all the time...And I like the Frankfort schools addition. But, what about the poor Bullitt schools... I'm sure they'd take a longer drive, rather than put up with the mess their now in ( 6th region)...

When the 'law' states that you must post -- you post! Even if the best candidate is already inside the system. That's the 'law'. I don't think it's misleading. You take your chances, hope to get an interview, then 'wow' them.

In the 29th..South Oldham Dragons defeated Oldham 53-51, going down to the wire..Oldham missed a 1/2 shot to win the game...pretty emotional! Go Dragon's.. next up the Evil "North Oldham "

Tonight the Dragons play at Oldham....thoughts on this game? Oldham won the earlier game...but, my money is on South in a close one...too many 3's for Oldham to handle.

sad but true.... Norths cheer section is a reflection of their elite community spirit.....

Word is Oldham lead the entire game...had a 9-10 lead late ..couldn't close it out...Gallatin got back in it with 3's from their little guard...had ball for a last second shot...missed it....

North won't take any prisoners.....lokk for a 20 point margin....

Could be a long night for the Cougars.. North is going to press the whole game..likes to score those points....he will not call off the dogs ( mustangs) look for a high scoring affair.......

Word out of Crestwood is that long time coach Steve 'Curley' Simspon may hang it up after this year...just a rumor...

Oldham County has to be in the mix.. 10 or 12 regional titles...4 elite 8's , 1 final 4 in those years.. despite being split not once but, twice in those years. All this with Scott Co. winning a couple of titles during that time as well.....

One of the 3 coaches was already on probation..what will happen to him!!
