Anybody know what happened to the Clark- Madison Central freshman game scheduled for noon on the 19th. Went to GRC at noon and it was all locked up?????:confused:

Clark is 8-3. Lost to Mason, Trinity, and Male in OT.

Clark has a real nice point guard, I think his name is Vancleve and a nice big kid, about 6-5 they said his name is Fatkin.

Made it out to watch Montgomery and Clark Freshman do battle last night. Montgomery led by 8 at the half, Clark came back and won by 6. Someone said Clark was missing a starter, may have been Robbie Stenzels little brother. Two pretty good teams.

I think this group of Freshman is pretty good for Clark and then a few very lean years to come!:scared:

Good friend of mine is the Freshman Basketball coach at Clark Co. Says Dini is top notch kid that will succeed at no matter what he does. Said he played out of position all season last year and led the team in rebounding from the 4 spot and should have been playing 2. I would say he will improve each week and that is what I have seen from the stands. Clark qb position in good hands for 3 years.:thumb:

Andrew Dini is the new QB for Clark County.

This thread should be history. Entire GRC staff will be back next season. Coach Humphrey, Coach Graham, Coach Allison, Coach Pace, and Coach Barnes. All were pink slipped but all will be back next season. This comes dirctly from GRC principal Gordy Parido. THE END!!

Dwain Gay did play on the 86 team and go to Union College. Rick Burkhead Played four years of football at Eastern Kentucky and received free agent tryouts with the Dolphins and the Eagles. Rick is now an FBI agent in Dallas Texas. His oldest son plays football at Harvard. His youngest son is a senior to be at Plano Senior high with offers from Texas, Auburn, LSU, Texas Tech, Stanford, Cal, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Louisville, Baylor, Notre Dame among others. Plays running back but is being recruited as a db. Handshoe went to Lincoln Memorial and then Northern KY. Pulaski beat us in the second round of the sweet 16.

Clark won the 40th Saturday with wins over Paris and Bourbon. No word on the region.

Anyone know when the 10th region freshman tourney will be held and where?

Dante Gay from Clark County was the best in school history. Gym was full 45 minutes before tip to watch him work. 5' 9 and jump out of the gym. Was a senior in 90 when clark lost to holmes in the semis of the sweet 16. Went on to play at Georgia State.

From what I heard, Clark had to make a decision by 10:00 for the transportation office. At that time it was raining and the forecast for thursday evening was snow and turning colder. I am sure if they could have waited till early afternoon and seen the weather and forecast change they would have not cancelled. Better safe than sorry using the info available to you at the time.

Clark frosh defeated Paris by 18 on monday and Montgomery by about 15 Thursday. My nephew is on team and said they did not play well either game. I think they play Mason Monday p.m.
