Im going with PC in a close one! They have alot of talent, and I hope they get out there and show it!!

I feel bad that Winston must sit out this week, but IMO there was NO need for the language and behavior he used last week. There is always a missed or bad call in every game, but you should not act in that manner, so I just hope it is a learning lesson not just for him but the whole team. IMO it was unsportsmanlike and the call was fair.

Coach Hines is not getting out of coaching.

well I was just wondering cause we had heard he told the boys it might be his last year and he just wasnt sure yet...:confused: I know alot of people have different feelings towards him, but he has been a great coach and friend to my son...:thumb:

Yea, I read that article as well so I'm not sure where Slink got his figures from.

IMHO I don't think Hines should have stated PC wouldn't be returning to the CB, cause in todays paper Bowers stated he didn't even know about it all.

This bowl is great for the community and helps all three schools, so I don't see what the problem is with it all. I am a maroon fan myself, but I like to see all our local schools do great during the season, so the more profit they all get the better it helps ALL the boys..

Would they split the gate with SHS? Somerset splits the Bowl money now. I take it if they played Pulaski every year then, one year would be Bowl game and the next at PC. I don't see where PC would split half the gate with Somerset. There would be no advantage to playing PC at PC every other year, except for Pulaski.

I see your point on that..and yea if thats the way they wanted to do it then the profit should be split..fair is fair..Im glad whoever made the decision to keep PC in the RCB was thinking logical..:thumb:

IMO thats good news..Why did PC drop out of the Bowl in the first place?? I heard Hines didnt wanna play there any longer..I also heard this might be Hines last year at coaching?? That one night is great profit for all three of our local teams, and the whole community loves to get involved and come out and watch..Im glad that they are back in, and good luck to all our local teams!!

Even though the Maroons have some injuries, their main problem has been not being aggressive enough on the O Lines and D Lines. If their line of scrimmage will play as capable, they will be fine.

I heard a little while ago that he is only out for 2 weeks and then PC has the open week so he will be back for the South Laurel game..His knee is just very banged up but has no tearing, so that is really good news....

I think this is gonna be a tough game for the PC guys, but I see them being alot more focused and have alot less mistakes in this game..If the run dont work with Hines and Abner the back up QB has got a great arm and with a little protection from the line he should do really well getting the ball to #24 (white) he is a real good player and has got alot of speed. I wish them the best of luck on Friday!!

It will be a day or so for results on Chris's MRI...His ACL seems to be fine they believe it may be the ligament next to the ACL, but they won't know how bad it is until the results come back....We are all praying for him and hope that he does not need surgery for the injury....

We heard today Chris Muse is having an MRI done on his knee Tuesday to see how bad the damage is....hopefully things will go well for him he his a great kid...

I will agree PC was not out of shape...I thought the boys did great with the mistakes that were made, and with a few players out....the cramping up was probably do to the fact that they were not getting enough water..I was told they had none at half time cause it was empty...IMO they really need to work on the line cause no matter who is QB they need a little time to get the ball off.....Rock played a great game, so good luck to them the rest of the season!! PC has alot of talent but they have some things to work on next week is going to be a tough one, so good luck guys...

The "things" better be pretty special, and if this defense is so devastating then why haven't they been running it all season?:confused::confused: IMO it is very difficult to use a new defense that you haven't used in a game, let alone the district championship against a very balanced offensive attack.

Thats funny:laugh: because they did, and as Maroon Fan said it was for SL passing game, and it worked and was devastating!! I'm sure PC has been working on what they need too, as well as LC has.... it will be a tough game for both teams....

but I think PC will have to change their gameplan. You can't just drop back and pass against French's defense.

I would agree with you on this..PC really needs to change it up if they plan to get pass LC......PC has a lot of talent, but they don't seem to use but a couple of them.. They need to play the field, and give LC something they haven't seen on the films already......LC is a great team, and you can't just slide by them....Good Luck to the Maroons!!:thumb:

has anyone heard how the young man from SL is doing?

A similar event took place at the PC and SL game, and the young man from SL gave a really heartfelt speech..i agree it is a wonderful thing to see in are young kids today!!

I hope all is well with the young man that was hurt during the game....

Somerset shouldn't have a problem with GC..They are playing great football!!

LC is a very good team and they will be well prepared for PC, but I think the Maroons are just as good as LC....These boys have showed they got what it takes, and I think they will be ready for this Friday...The D was great against SL, so I hope they give it to LC just as hard!!!

Kinda starting to think the Cards might pull this one out. PC only beat them last time on a busted play, PC is banged up and SL seems to be playing their best ball right now.

I will agree the last time they met it was a close one, but PC is a much improved team as well, and I'm not sure where you got the banged up part:confused: but they looked good this week in practice....I think PC is ready, and with it being at home and 1st round IMO they will come out very strong...
