I thought that he did well when he played last season. It was pouring down rain in one game I remember, Brad was still not 100% and Jackson could not pass the ball. Ryan came in and drove the ball right down the field. I'm sure that Coach will pick who he thinks is best suited for our high powered offense. "GO ROCKS"

Fredrick played very well last year. IMO he would be a strong leader to this young team.

Last years team was no different in commitment and pride from the senior class than from years past. They played the toughest schedule in the schools history and just because they lost to St.X in the state final, you tag them as less committed!!! Give me a break. As far as pride, everyone of those kids had pride in Trinity High School. This statement comes from a parent whose son just completed busting his butt for the program the past four years.

I agree with Rocks 8010. It takes a very special player to stay with a program such as Tinity. Several of the seniors last year did not play and they did not quit. Pride and commitment kept them there.

Amen Brother. We need to ramp it up and learn from last year. Truly feel that other local teams will be much improved this year [i.e. Ballard, Eastern, etc] and the X-men sound 'scary strong" again.

Actually I think he is an X guy. But your are right, good insight, good discussions. Look forward to his posts.

From what I have seen they seem to be a second half type team. A team that is so young that some mistakes or otherwise fundamental football play is not executed. Yes, they are slow and I am not so sure some of it is just plain hesitation. Mark has been out for some three months just as the season was getting underway. He has to learn his team and make adjustments with some of the new plays he is adding to the offense. They have a close group of kids that work hard and have the discipline to "Bring It" on game night. Not the most talented bunch, but have continued to improve.

What about their Freshman squad?

Despite their record I think they have alot of promise and I look for good things to come. I have seen several of their games. They are young...but well coached...and play hard. Impressed with their coaching staff and young men. Wish them all the best..........hang in there................they almost upset Doss (playing up several Classes)....beat themselves IMO...by a late penalty while driving in for what might have been the winning score...................Good luck:thumb:
