  1. Both teams played really hard and Bellevue scored a touchdown on a long pass to score with 27 seconds left in the game. Both teams played good, would like to make 2 comments on the game.

    1) Worst officiating crew I have ever seen, for both teams. And the last pass interference when Brownfield picked the ball off was horrible by all means.

    2) Dayton decided to throw the ball every down possible. No one could figure it out why, because when they ran the ball they would pick up good yardage and scored both times running, but still continued to throw the ball every single down. Still scratching my head on that one.

    Good game though

It was interference and was not hard to see. We played bad tonight and made too many mistakes. As far as the pass are you serious. We dropped four balls that were going for 40 +, so keep scratching your head. Bellevue's secondary is their weakness and it showed Dayton tried to take advantage of it. It is easy to say and do things from the stands. The plays are called for a reason. We broke three runs for about 10 yards. All of the other runs were 2 and 3. Did you not see us run the ball our last three possessions. Plus we have two guys not being able to tackle A.K in the last few seconds of the game.

  2. Also what is the story on Richard Wills you all have heard about?

Honestly know one from Dayton cares about Richard Wills or who plays at quarterback. Bellevue can put anyone on their team there its not going to help them at all if anything hurt them. Dayton is ready for anything. If Bellevue has to change their quarterback and their offense for this game then they must be scared of something. The rumors about Roger being sick I truly believe that is a bunch of garbage and totally false. I don’t think anyone on either roster would sit this one out because of sickness. I know I would have to be hospitalized before I missed this game. So you Bellevue fans should have came up with a little bit better of a lie to try to throw Dayton off.

  3. I just wanna state some things real quick. First off lets look at there records, Dayton is 8-2 while Bellevue is 6-4. Also last time they played ( During the regular season) Dayton beat them 35-8, so if i was a Bellevue faithful i would not be critizing Daytons talent or any other aspect of there game. This is not saying much for your team either. As for the people bashing Dayton in general lets stick to football that is what this thread is all about. With this i say Dayton by a few.

    Dayton 28

    Bellevue 7 (New Kicker) :lol::lol::lol::lol:

  4. Dude not one thing about Dayton is clean...never has been, never will be! It's a fact of life....much like gravity, and the DH

I think you will learn another "fact" of life tonight after Dayton runs all over Bellevue again. Oh and by the way Dayton gave Bellevue the ball on like the 15 yard line and Bellevue did not score. Also Bellevue only had two more turnovers than Dayton. We will see come tonight.:fire::fire::fire::fire:

  5. Dude not one thing about Dayton is clean...never has been, never will be! It's a fact of life....much like gravity, and the DH

That is funny. All year Coach Montgomery said when he played for

Bellevue he felt the same way. Now that he has been here for about 7 months, he said how much class and how great of people our team is. So that is coming from a man who has lived in Bellevue all of his life. I think he knows what he is talking about too. So maybe you should see first before you come on here and talk about people like that. I was referring to the jerseys not the people. It was just a saying, obviously I hope our jerseys are dirty, becasue it means we are flying to the football. 8 hours till kickoff.:fight:

  6. 8.5 hours till kickoff. I love the shirts Bellevue the good Ludlow the bad Dayton the ugly. What a waste of money and material! Dayton cleanest, Ludlow cleaner, and Bellevue dirty. That is how the backs of the jerseys are going to look after the games. No offense to Ludlow I am just using the terminology Bellevue used for the shirts.

  7. So I just confirmed this 'secret weapon' is Thomas Barrett starting at QB. I know he has decent speed, but is fairly small (built like Bukler). Personally I see this as an advantage for Dayton since this would be his first start ever at QB, but I look for Bellevue to try some QB run packages. Highly doubt they will try to pass with him that much since he won't be able to see over the big lineman, but will try to run with him some.[/QU]

Where did you get this information from?...

D.B. I have my ways of knowing things. We have a secret weapon too and he tells us a lot of things going on. I know it is not #19 playing, we all know the story behind him, but will not comment on that. I like the things people are putting on here about the secret weapon. Just remember a lot of things look good against your redshirts, when you run them. I know Berkley was close with Coach Montgomery, Coach Chenot and Coach Rice. Coach Chenot coached Berkley at Bellevue. Montgomery was a runningback who played with Berkley and Coach Rice has ties to Berkley from TMC. Let's just play football and we will see who is the real deal. This game is for round 2, it is for the communities to have bragging rights. Kickoff is 7:30 and anyone who wants to see a good game come on down to Davis Field. 20hrs 45 min until kickoff baby. Veterans day was yesterday and it reminds me off what is going on tomorrow. We are going to invade by air and by land have fun as we will.

  8. Well that was a very ignorant post because Coach Montgomery was not in the line shaking hands when some of the players were walking by and for anyone to think Bellevue's players don't respect him you are outside your mind. That man coach these seniors two years in pee-wee's and then two years in highschool, so you are very, very wrong there. The reason Bellevue's JV was throwing is they thought to be in first place they had to have scored more in the two games combined sorry guy, but the biggest mistake you just posted was talking about finishing the tigers season again because they most likely just made a bunch of players very mad and hopefully they will take their time walking down the middle of the field when they enter this time.. :flame:

He went to shake hands with coaches first then got in line. I was right behind him when about ten people pulled their hand away from him. He was bothered by it a little bit. He has told us all year that he hoped the

Tigers do well unless they are playing us. I loved it when they dumped the water on him right before they passed out the paddle, that was cool to see how much we have accepted him here @ Dayton. I shook coach Lickerts hand when we played them and that was the classy thing to do. Enough drama lets play football 53 1/2 hours till kickoff, Davis field is the place to be on Friday night. :jump::fire:

This would be there mistake, we seen what dayton did last time giving them even more reason to want to dominate and blow Bellevue out wouldn't be smart. But in my opinion this will be a much closer game and a little less low scoring and there has been more than one bellevue player to disrespect Chad now that he is a greendevil. So all you will do is get them fired up.

    :flame::devil: :fire:

  10. :devil:Well Dayton is banged up, but I still see the Greendevils in a close one. The only thing I can say is Bellevue better not walk right down the middle of the field when Dayton is perfroming their pregame again. They did that last time and it really made everyone mad. I will say there are a lot of things at stake here. The number one thing being the winner is moving on. There are a lot of things that have happened since that game ended. The first being over half of the players from Bellevue did not shake Coach Montgomery's hand after the game. If you are from Bellevue and Dayton we all know what that is about! I know this is not a varsity game, but then in the Freshman/Sophomore game they tried to punch the ball in up 19-13 with 35 seconds left and the game was over. Bellevue just had to take a knee and the game was over. That is two shots at Coach Montgomery and from what I hear he gave so much to that school on and off the field and that is the way the kids in that school treat him. The Dayton kids all hugged their former coach (Lickert) and wished him luck the rest of the year. Bellevue will come out battling and will play hard, but the Devils play better and win 28-7. This will be two years in a row that the Devils end the Tigers season with a loss.:fire:

Sorry performing was not spelled correctly.:thumb:

  12. That is great! I know for a fact that Beechwood 2 platoons! Wake up, they play the same kids the whole game also w/the exception of a couple spots, so what is your point.:fight:

Beechwood does not start nearly as many people two ways like Dayton. If someone from Dayton needs a break they must send a much less talented younger kid in. Beechwood has plenty of depth and has many players that can hop in at any point in the game.

  13. i think the secret weapon is the passing game. i know they've worked on some things from what I've been told, but I like the comment about them bringing their band.

IMO Bellevue passing the ball would be interesting, I just dont see it working but with Dayton now at nearly full force i guess i would be trying new things to. Dayton has proved time and time again that they can stop the run and almost nobody has passed well on them all year. Dayton has a soild defense and an offense that seems to get better and better every week. It comes down to what in my opinion it came down to last time they meet and thats the O and D line. Who ever wins the battle up front wins the game. :thumb:

  14. A healthy Dayton will win the game. Last week was an unfortunate learning experience. The Greendevils will get back to form this week and take care of the Tigers!

Exactly Dayton will be much closer to full force next week now that there domonating O-line reunites. Also bringing back hard hitting middle linebacker Keith Searcy and DB Ryan Brownfield. I have heard rumors Joe can not play, have not had a chance to talk to him. I know his shoulder is in much pain so its a throw up if he is to play this week or not. This takes away much speed from the Dayton backfield. I can still see Dayton pulling this one off.

    Dayton 28

    Bellevue 7

  15. To add on to that Daytons kids must be in better condition because most of there players dont leave the feild. They play offense, Defense, and special teams. They play pretty much the same 11 all game, with the exception of one or two postions, and some special teams. So Beechwood might seem in more condition than Dayton but take in consideration the depth of Beechwoods roster compared to Daytons. :thumb:

  16. Sorry, my way of being funny. You commented how much better Dayton is playing, like Beechwood hasn't improved at all since playing Dayton. Well, let me tell you a little secret. Beechwood is ready to go, it's playoff time and this is why they have lifted wts since last Jan and conditioned so hard all summer. I am sure others do the same but this is the best conditioned team I have watched at Beechwood in several yrs.

Dayton started lifting as soon as there season ended last year, and i see them as in just as good condition as any team in there district. I agree Dayton must play there best game but it can be done. :fire:

  17. Nope he practiced today as did Brownfield. Neither will play this week though.

Brownfield did not practice he and the trainer were working on building strength back in his ankle as for Joe, He had shoulder pads on but did not participate and had tremendous pain with the few things he did do.

  18. You're right, there is no rule about it anywhere. It's just funny that people don't complain about petty things like the band unless the team's doing well.

Exactly Daytons band has been playing while the opposing team has the ball for years and nobody cared, now Dayton is doing well and people start to pick at little pointless things.

  19. From what I was told -- if the Home Team's band is playing while the Visiting Team is on offense -- the result can be a penalty for the Home Team. I do know that the official warned the Dayton coach and a coach from Dayton did go to the band director and told him.

Im pretty sure its not it the rule book. Therefore the refs were helpless and i think the Dayton fans standed up and started humming one of Daytons fight songs. Nothing you can do about that.:D
