  1. Educate me and others....why were Highlands and Cov Cath permitted to move up but Beechwood is not?

The reason Cov Cath and Highlands were allowed to move up is because they ask to. I know for a fact that Beechwood only stayed in class 1a to win some state titles and with the hope to move up later. When this all went down every team had a chance to move up but Beechwood chose to stay down. :ylsuper::dancingpa

  2. Todd Naumann-Offensive Coordinator

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Todd Naumann is entering his 11th year as a teacher and his 16th year as a coach at Moeller High School. He is a history teacher, football coach, and the strength and conditioning coordinator.

Todd is a 1991 graduate of Moeller. While a student-athlete, he competed in both football and track & field. He went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in history at Thomas More College in 1995. During his football career at Thomas More, Todd was a four-year letter winner and established several receiving records. He also earned First Team All Conference honors three consecutive years. Upon graduation, Todd enrolled in Xavier University’s Master’s of Education Program and earned his degree in secondary education in 2000.

Todd is entering his 12th year as football coach at Moeller and is in his second season as the offensive coordinator. He is also responsible for coaching the quarterbacks.

Todd resides in Sycamore Township with his wife, Leah, and sons Kyle and Caleb.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

Todd is a real good guy, and very popular with those that he has worked with, the kids and the coaching community in Southwest Ohio. I've heard that he is the leader of the pack too. The only thing that could foul him up is that working w/in the "family" has not gotten them back to the Faust/Kloenne era so far.

The stories I have heard is that Naumann is not well liked with the players. After some key losses this past year, his talks to the kids wasn't well respected from other coaches, from the players, and their parents. I have seen him coach, if he gets the job Big Moe will loose all their players to ST.X.

You seem to know a lot about Naumann. If he is all that is stated above why didn't he get the Roger Bacon last year. I know he applied for that job.

  3. What would you call your first comment, saying Moe would be nuts to hire Rash?

Moeller has not been the old Moe of the past for several yrs. Yes, it would be a very highly intense job w/numerous responsibilities, none of which Coach Rash couldn't handle. Believe this, there is a ton of pressure on the Beechwood Head Coach every yr. They are expected to get to Louis yr in and yr out. If they don't it is not a good season even w/a record of 13-1. Yes, BHS is one of those little Class A schools but that doesn't mean there isn't any pressure or added responsibilities for the head man. Obviously, you have never been there or around to realize this.

Opinions are great, where would we be as humans w/out them?

Don't worry Rash is not on the list for the Moe job. Besides he would be a fool to leave BHS now with 1A being so weak. The way the state has it set up now, if BHS doesn't win state every year there is a problem. The pressure at BHS doesn't compare to Moe, specially with New Cath in 2A. Like I said before BHS should walk in to the title game every year.

  4. It was a great win for CCH, good luck next week beat the Birds!!!!

The most disappointing thing I saw last night was at half time when Dixie was going to their lockroom. There were a bunch of Spartan Youth players in their jerseys yelling BOO at the team. The Spartans organization feeds into the Dixie program and there are a lot of Dixie kids that were former Spartans players. Worst of all, Coach Spritzky was kind enough to let the Spartan kids in for FREE! Show a little respect, being a former Spartan, I was embarassed.
