The 12th Region Shootout Schedule of games. 11:00 am Somerset vs Knox Central 12:30 pm Lincoln County vs Apollo 2:00 pm Mercer County vs Cordia 3:30 pm Wayne County vs Madison Central 5:00 pm Southwestern vs Perry County Central 6:30 pm Pulaski County vs Frankfort 8:00 pm Pulaski County vs Garrard County (Girls) Hopefully weather will cooperate as this should be a great day of basketball with some really good games. Kudos to the PC coach and athletic director for putting on two very good Showcase Events the first two weeks of February.

Story in the Commonwealth Journal this weekend said Pulaski County High School coach Jimmy Voight used his many connections to get this event started with Dan Hudson who is the Organizer of the Marshall County Hoopfest. Also PC Athletic Director Brian Miller also involved with this event. Some big name talent coming to PC gym this weekend.

Thanks for the information people. I saw on KHSAA Website schedule some games listed for Saturday February 13th. The Don Marshall 12th Region Showcase Frankfort vs Pulaski County Apollo vs Lincoln County Knox Central vs Somerset Madison Central vs Wayne County Cordia vs Mercer County It showed those 5 games as being played in this event. Anyway know if Boyle County and Southwestern are playing anyone at this event?

I have heard that the Pulaski County Maroons and Coach Voight will be hosting two Big one day Events this basketball season in February. On February 6th (Saturday) heard their will be 7 or 8 games of basketball being played at Pulaski County High School. Heard that their will be 4 or 5 games of Kentucky high schools playing against other Kentucky High Schools plus also suppose to have 4 or 6 Top Prep Teams from across the country coming to play in this event. Have heard some names being thrown around such as Josh Jackson, Miles Bridges and Thon Maker all suppose to be playing in this event. Anyone got details or know if this is happening for sure? Then the following Saturday on February 13th heard that they were having a 12th Region Showcase Event with 6 or 7 games being played. 12th Region Teams playing against other quality programs from across the State of Kentucky. If anyone can shed some light or information on these events would appreciate it very much.

From what I have heard both players had injuries from football and waiting to get cleared to play by the doctors. I was told that both have been at practices watching etc. Barger probably wasn't sitting with the team because didn't want to spread whatever he has to the rest of his teammates. Believe both will be playing before long.
