Officiating has been horrible in central KY! If you have a handicap tag in your car, you don't need to be officiating football. If you cannot run to keep up with the play, you do not need to be officiating football. I am a large person and am not attacking others of my size, but I am also not paid to be on the field wearing a black and white stripped shirt and a whistle. If you can't blow your whistle because you are out of breath after trying to keep up with a play you do not need to be calling football. In another thread someone made a statement referring to a correct call being made by an official right in front of the play but was over ruled by another official on the other side of the field who could not keep up with the play because he had one of the issues I mentioned earlier (the handicap tag I believe). There really should be some form of PT requirements. You also have your control freaks overruling other officials with a better view. Vision issues, Are they required to have their vision checked? In another thread it was mentioned that fans don't know the rules, etc. I assure you I do not know all the rules, but I do know the white line on the side of the field indicates in and out of bounds, I know a ball caught a yard outside of that line is incomplete, I know that if a player catches a pass with both hands at his mid section and never hits the ground, that is a complete pass... these are the type of calls I am referring to... REALLY bad ones. Calls that the other team laugh at. Yes, HORRIBLE officiating this season.

Can anyone give me some insight into this. I witnessed a terribly called game on Friday night and I have been told the refs were being scored or graded or something on that game. Are their scores/ratings/grade released or made public? The game is over and done with but I can't help but be curious of their rating. Can anybody tell me anything about how this works?

Anyone have an update on the Cooper kid, or any of the injured Eagles? Praying for the injuries to be minor and all the boys to be back on the field next week.
