I'm pretty sure they have contacted all of the finalists the passed over on last year. Will be interesting to see if those guys are still interested in the job. I know they have a guy there who they think would be good but he is really young. Can't wait to see what happens there.

I used to hear all of these same arguements when I was in KY. I was one of the chosen few to be born and raised in the Commonweath and one thing you guys have to realize is KY is not a football state. After playing college ball i got into college coaching and have been in the south east for the past 5 years. We do not get full pads for spring practice, but, we end school on Friday June 12 and start with helmets and shoulder pads on June 14. I would trade spring practice for an early summer start. When I was in MS and AL summer was the same way with 4 weeks of spring practice. The biggest problem I have seen in KY high school sports is every basketball coach in the state wants to take every 6'0'' 175 lb kid and make them think they should just concentrate on basketball. Forget the fact that there is not a 6 foot 175 pound player in the NCAA tournment. But there are a ton of them playing in bowl games. Good luck with whomever you get as your new leader!!

I have been seeing on the Scoop a few jobs coming open in KY. Just wondering what you guys are hearing about who is out and who is in?

:taz:Haven't seen a lot of people talking about whats going on in Harrison County. Won a District championship last year with Stepp and playing for another one this Friday under Carroll. I know it's not about X's and O's it's about Jimmy's and Joe's, But with two different head coaches in 2 years.... Just wondering what you guys think about it?
