For the past five to eight years people have talked about how bad the program and the coaching is in Middlesboro. So this year after starting 11-1, who gets the credit? Coach Jones does a great job with that program and the young players he had last year have game experience and can play with anybody in the 13th. Coach Jones has had a couple of years to implement his system and change the attitude of his team and they have responded and some of that should be credited to coach Jones and his staff.

Stats are stats, nothing misleading about that. The only excuses being made are the ones you are making. Middlesboro can't help if the region was young, that was my point that middlesboro was also young and still improved on defense. If you want to give credit to the other region teams for middlesboro playing better defense, thats fine. As a coach you take it any way you can get it.

It should mean something to you,"LITTLE ABOUT IT" thats the problem. My 9 year old knows a little about it but that dont make him a coach.This coach jones took over a young team with alot of bad habbits and it takes a little while to break those habbits. There defense improved last year and i think it will improve this year.

If you check the stats from last year, the defense improved from the previous year and the one before that.

The coching in middlesboro is fine. So you think these players developed to where they are now without there coaches? If you knew anything about coaching, you would understand that it is tough when your top three or four players are so young. Now these kids are uperclasemen, lets see how they do now.

Green and Smith from middlesboro should be on the list.

when was he out of coaching? He coached under the two coaches before him , so i dont think he took any time off. All coaches are right there until they want a new one.

Do you even know the current coach jones? ( stop gap) what is that? The current coach jones is good with the kids from middlesboro and is a good coach.
