South Oldham 54, Male 45: Jasmine Whitfield's career night led the host Dragons (9-4) past the Bulldogs (8-7). The junior point guard hit 10 of 17 field-goal attempts and scored 32 points - her most ever in a single game - and added nine rebounds, three steals and two assists. Andrea Owen had 19 points for Male.

South seems to be turning it up a notch as February approaches.

IMO, South always starts a little slow because they have so many players that play other sports{volleyball, soccer, cross country). Whitfield is the only starter that plays bball all year but all the girls are very athletic and come around by January. Dye was getting over an illness this game but the girls were able to get the win.
