I'm not one to (ever) brag on Highlands, but "Fort Thomas Highlands, KY" did get mentioned some 15 times overall. :isurrender:

 

Taylor Mill Scott, KY was also mentioned once, but their mention was a bit more dubious.

I was surprised that neither St. X or Trinity showed up anywhere. Male got quite a few nods in the individual records between Montrell Jones, Gerry Ahrens, and Chris Redman.

If the records aren't accurate , could that be the reason that Ky high school football looks like it's not up to par with the rest ?

 

Somebody mentioned that T & X were not even mentioned . How do you win 20 state titles and not show up in the record book ?

...well it looks like the records for state titles are between 21 and 35. One team racked up 27 titles in 50 years :eek:

As a lawrence County fan I always find it interesting to see these numbers and realize that we had Jared Parker who was at the time the #2 all-time recieving leader in yards for a career and Michael West who is at least on the list for all-time rushing yards for a career on the same team in 98 and 99. So much talent at LC during the 90's that if it wasn't for the 99 highlands team we would have at least 1 state championship. Have I ever mentioned how much I really hated the 99 highlands team!!!!!!!!!

Didn't the Birds win by like 40 pts or so? So you think you would of beat Owensboro?
