Final...a brief summary and some stats to follow.

For the second year in a row, Lexington Christian's Lady Eagles soared past CAL's Lady Centurions. Just like last year, this game was a TV broadcast and CAL provided their worst performance of the season. The Lady Eagles snatched the victory by playing a smart game on both ends of the floor, outscoring CAL 16-7 in the 4th quarter to provide the winning margin.

After shooting 43% overall and 30% from 3-point range against top 20 competition thus far this season, CAL shot an anemic 29% on this occasion, including 9% on 2 of 21 on 3-pointers, using poor shot selection in the 2nd half against a solid Lady Eagles defense that took advantage with a well-executed ball control offense.

Hopefully, for CAL's sake, this was their clunker game just like last season, as they need to come back quickly to face Manual on Friday.

Lexington Christian can celebrate a well-played, well-earned win, led by all-stater Sara Beth Barnette's 15 points.
