Final score from the championship game of the Hoopin it up tourny at North Laurel. This team has really started to click since halftime of the Corbin game. Next up for South Laurel will be a trip to New York for another holiday tourny.

South controlled the game from the tip.

I think the guard play and the depth at that position is the key for South. They are so active on defense, and really force the other team into bad situtation.

I was surprised that South handled PRP's athleticism so well. PRP was fast and long, but it didn't phase South. Also, Watkins had a great game - 22 points with 17 coming in the second half. If he plays like that every game, South will be a tough team come tourney time.

I noticed the coaches from the other district teams were all there tonight. That district has some great matchups!

South must be really playing well a big win for the Cardinals.:thumb:
