Oxnard Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Lafayette scores on 5-yard run by QB. Lafayette 7 - Boone County 0 7:07 left in 1st quarter
Oxnard Posted August 29, 2009 Author Posted August 29, 2009 (edited) Boone County had the ball first and ran seven plays (6-run, 1-pass) and then punted. Quainoo has 6 carries for about 15 yards so far. Lafayette looks very good so far, driving 67 yards for the first TD. Edited August 29, 2009 by gold sunrise site not allowed.
Oxnard Posted August 29, 2009 Author Posted August 29, 2009 Boone County scores and it's now 7-7. I didn't see how they scored.
Oxnard Posted August 29, 2009 Author Posted August 29, 2009 Oppenheimer, rather than Quainoo, is getting most of the yardage for Boone County.
Oxnard Posted August 29, 2009 Author Posted August 29, 2009 TD Quainoo!! Boone County 14 - Lafayette 7 (10:44 left in 2nd quarter)
Oxnard Posted August 29, 2009 Author Posted August 29, 2009 Lafayette returns the kickoff all the way to the 25. Eric Shaw then run 25 yards for Generals TD. Boone County 14 - Lafayette 14 (10:24 left in 2nd quarter)
Oscar Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Wow I'll admit, I though BC would do this and do it handily. Ryle is more and more looking like my favorite 6A team in NKY. Still haven't seen Conner though and I like West. Good to hear Quainoo with a TD!
KnightTime007 Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Props to Lafayette for hanging right there with Boone. Shaw is the real deal and the Generals will go as far as he can take them. Lafayette is headed in the right direction with Coach Sayre at the helm. Should be a good second half.
Oxnard Posted August 29, 2009 Author Posted August 29, 2009 Lafayette funbles at their 13...recovered by Boone.
KnightTime007 Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Lafayette funbles at their 13...recovered by Boone. What quarter are they in?
Oxnard Posted August 29, 2009 Author Posted August 29, 2009 7-yard pass to Brown for Boone County TD. Boone County 21 - Lafayette 14 (7:24 left in 3rd quarter)
Oxnard Posted August 29, 2009 Author Posted August 29, 2009 Lafayette has a left offensive tackle who is humongous, looking at least a head taller than anyone else on the field. He doesn't appear overly dominant, however.
