Ryle has decided not to make the trip to Louisville this Saturday and play Trinity and Male. Trinity will play at Male at 4PM.

Are you sure about this? Nothing like this was mentioned to the Ryle players on the bus ride home from Tates Creek this evening. The games are absolutely cancelled with Ryle on Saturday? Very disappointing.

Not what the Ryle players are being told as of this post. As far as we know, there is still a chance they'll play tonight at Oldham County, then travel on to Louisville to stay overnight and play two games tomorrow if they field is playable.

Well, I called my baseball contact and he said Trinity won't know until the morning. Trinity's kids report to school at 11:30AM. Male is supposed to have their parents working the field early in the morning.

 

So, this is a 180 from what I was told yesterday. Hope to see the Raiders tomorrow!

I believe the start time of the first game is supposed to be 12:30, though if it's rained anything in Louisville like it has up here in NKY, I would think the field would be unplayable. Even if they have a tarp, there has to be substantial standing water in the OF.

 

So Spring Break will likely come and go and we will have played 2 games. I wish like all get out Ryle would schedule a Florida trip during this time! :irked:
