DeSales dominated carrying the momentum most of the game. Running and passing effectively. Southern scored on an interception and a pass play to a running back down the middle of the field. That play really caught DeSales off gaurd as the guy was not even covered. No one was around him for about ten yards. Southern missed a field goal in overtime. Southern committed a pass interference against DeSales which game DeSales the opportunity to complete their overtime tie scoring drive to then cap it off with the winning field goal. Ended much closer than it seemed it was in the beginning of the game. Southern never gave up and almost prevailed in the end. Very good game.

DeSales also went for a 2pt conversion after missing an extra point. DeSales also completed a pass on a fake punt play but was called back for illegal reciever down field.
