The St. X Tigers closed out their regular season in a great way last Friday night by defeating Christian Academy 2-0 on Senior Night at TIGER PARK.

 

Pitchers Damon McCormick (Sr.), Cory Boughey (Sr.) and Justin Amlung (Jr.) combined to pitch a no hitter as the Tigers closed their season with a win and an impressive first year record of 22-9 for Head Coach John Jefferson.

 

Kal Scheler scored on a Nick Dewees SAC FLY in the 1st and Damon McCormick scored on Ben Zoeller's single in the 5th to lead the Tigers to victory.

 

Now the true test of the season has arrived, Districts start this week and the Run for a State Championship in Lexington, KY at Applebee's Park.

 

FINAL FOUR IN '07; TAKE STATE IN '08!
