CovCath vs O-Cath in the LIT... This game didn't start tonight until 10:30pm and ended at 1:26am. Bleser of CovCath was the winning pitcher with Koester doing the mop up duty. Young Isler hit a HR with two on if I remember correctly. Other hitters for the Colonels were Bleser, Larkin, and Darner. CovCath plays a doubleheader Saturday with the first game at noon vs. Danville then at 2:30pm vs. Ballard. Should be a tough day as I am sure the CovCath team didn't get to bed until at least 2:30/3:00am.....

 

BTW, what a nice basebll field... stands etc.....at PRP. Good job guys....

It is always rough playing that late, last year we went to a tourney in pulaski co. and due to a fatal car wreck, our team showed up in a time range from 5-9 and due to that we didn't play our tourney game till 1230 in the mourning. I feel for Cov. Cath.

The Kentucky Post reported today that the CovCath victory against Owensboro Catholic last Friday/Saturday night, was the 1,000th win in the schools baseball history. Way to go Colonels.....

 

Congrats to all the present and former baseball players who helped win any game, on the way to 1,000 victories.
