Rockcastle Co./Lincoln Co. Updates

Mary Saylor has 18 early points as Rockcastle County has now stretched the lead out to 32-24 at half.

 

 

The winner of this game will move on to play the Southwestern Warriors who apparently handily defeated the Mercer County Lady Scotties......I don't have a score on that game so that's why I'm telling everyone in this thread.

Lincoln County comes out with more fire and cuts the Rock lead down to 35-30 as Sarah Rowe went down early in the third with a twisted left ankle but she has returned.

As soon as I posted the last post, Sonya Lunsford drained a 3-pointer and on the next Lincoln County possession, the Lady Pats turn it over and Sarah Rowe scores the easy lay-up.....Rock now leads 40-30.

Lincoln County goes on a run and cuts the Rockcastle County lead to 42-41.

 

Shakina Miller is playing REALLY well in this third quarter.

At the end of the third, its RC 43 LC 41.

Rockcastle County extends the lead to 52-45 but can't seem to pull away as the Lady Patriots continue to fight hard.

 

 

There's about 4 minutes left in the game.

Now Rockcastle County begins to pull away late as Rowe has 22 points (12 in the fourth quarter) and Saylor has 23 points.

 

Rock leads by 12 with a little over a minute remaining.
